Rumble Trucking- Best Employer
I have been Working for Rumble Trucking Since January of 2005. I admit their have been a few rough spots but I also have to admit that I and all other employees have been spoiled by this company. there have been a few times were I have just wanted to walk out but I know there is no other company out there that has a boss like we do. Julie Fagan has a lot of tough critics but if she wasn't who and how she is she would have been in a straight jacket from stress a long time ago or thrown to the wolves. Almost 5 years since I have been here and I do not regret it at all- Julie has given me so much experience and she has also given me a chance to grow up and be within a wonderful company- what can I say I love her to death. to all the people who post on here that Rumble trucking isn't a good or respectable company I wish you could have gotten to know her and this company like some of us have. I have nothing but Respect for Rumble Trucking and Mrs. Julie Fagan.
Not my experience
I have worked for the company for 3 years and never had this issue - if I am out of hours, i'm out. The owner is the last one who would let the dispatchers run drivers out of hours. She is the one I go to if I have a problem with anything. Its always taken care of. If you were getting close to your 70, your dispatcher should have known it the day before or prior to that. Figuring out that you are out of your 70 in the middle of a run or the morning before a planned run puts everyone in a bad position.

Rumble Trucking; Everything they tell truck drivers is a lie
When I first hired on with Rumble Trucking I was asked whether I wanted to be home every 7 days for 3 days off or every 10 days for 4 days off. I chose every 7 days with 3 days off. On my second day on the job as a truck driver for them I was notified that they were'nt letting drivers go home every 7 days anymore. On my 10th day out I was told I'd be out for 2 more days before they'd get me home. What happened to the 10 days out? My second time home I was only home for 2 days and asked if I was ready to come back to work they had a load for me. What happened to the 4 days at home? The final straw for me was after telling my dispatcher that I was completely out of hours she assigned another load to me. Then the owner of the company came on the line and ordered me to haul the load. She said there was no way I was out of hours. I was at 70 hours in 5 days. I legally had to take 10 hours off. There were no apologies given.
I'd run completely out of hours and my dispatcher put another load on me. I'd been advising her all day that I was running out of hours. When I explained again that I couldn't haul it she put the owner of the company on the line who immediately started screaming at me that I couldn't be out of hours and that I would haul the load. Even after she understood that I was up to 70 hours she never apologized. I was legally in the right and for her not to at least apologize was very unprofessional on her part. I won't work for people like this.
