/15/2021 I was attacked in a parking lot lot and suffered Traumatic Brain Injury. In December I made a decision to go with Rubenstein Law ( Even though other Attorneys showed Interest).
Was assigned to Christopher Gaj for attorney and Paralegal was Maria and several others after that . ( NOTE: I WAS FULLY COVERED MEDICALLY THROUGH CIGNA INSURANCE) . Cigna covered all medical and even though Christopher Gaj sent them a letter trying to get them to reverse medical to me in excess of $300,000 they DECLINED. Good thing since he settled for $200,000 and when I complained about that somehow he found an extra $1,000.
Maybe spoke to actually attorney 3-4 Times ...Never responds to Texts , Emails . I've received 2 payouts and both said FINAL !!! Nooooo It's Not FINAL TILL I GET THE OTHER $20,000 YOU ARE HOLDING , GETTING INTEREST ON. Today I spoke to BILLING OFFICE @ Bayonet Point Trauma Unit I was brought to , FOR THE 4TH TIME THEY CONFIRMED MY BILL HAS ZERO BALANCE !!!
Today 12/05/2022 I also spoke to Superintendent at Cigna over Claims ON A RECORDED LINE ! SHE STATED THE FOLLOWING " Because you ( Brenda) stayed IN NETWORK , you are ONLY responsible for out of pocket Co-Payments to your Therapy and Specialist and any medications not on formulary . Our Cigna In Network Physicians are under CONTRACT and Accept Allowable amounts , The amount between what they Bill and What we pay is not BILLED to our members at Cigna , Those balances the Drs charge off via adjustments , Our Drs can not Bill us and Bill our members as well that is " Double-Dipping" and against Insurance Guidelines " So as I sit here a few weeks before Christmas...Merry Christmas to me NOT , Because apparently Rubenstein Law doesn't Know Injury Law or Insurance and Probate Law! I NEED ALL MY MONEY AND NOT 6 MONTHS FROM NOW !!
I NEED ALL MY MONEY NOW , This is like Theft, Insurance Fraud, Bordering into ADA Laws of Abuse since I'm Disabled and have TBI Rubenstein Law thinks they can take advantage of me ??? I do NOT Recommend, Do your research , I'll update when I get my money !!!

- No experience handling claims where injured party had insurance
Preferred solution: MY ENTIRE 40,000 THEY HAD IN TRUST MINUS THE $1080.00 THAT I ACTUALLY OWED.

Conflict of Interest - Terrible Ethics
Rubenstein Law has been handling my car accident claim for over 10 weeks now, and I received a call this week that they just realized that they have been representing the other person in the accident all this time. Due to the conflict of interest they were dropping both cases.
10 weeks, multiple treatments for injuries already and we have to start all over with another attorney.
Although I was not happy that this was not realized sooner, and they didn't do their due diligence, they also never returned calls to me or my doctor. So perhaps a blessing in disguise.
- No follow up
- Misrepresents the process and bills
- Unethical

They are all HORRIBLE Communicators , There was one Paralegal in the very beginning Maria that was amazing at helping out, when she left it was a big fiasco.
