AI Highlights
  • - They quoted $589 to move two couches despite a $89 online coupon.
  • - Prices were negotiable and a $199 minimum was demanded; no receipt received.

I arranged for 1800 Got Junk to remove two couches in excellent condition for donation. I called to arrange the pick up and they had trucks in my area of.

San Ramon, Ca . I had an on line coupon offering me one. Item for $89, I discussed price with the person on the phone and he asked me what I wanted to pay I stated $150 or so. I was told that everything is negotiable.

The truck comes and we discuss price. I showed the two workers my coupon for $89 . They wanted $589 to move the two couches down the street to the donation. In other words $500 for the second couch.

We had taken off the legs and handed it to the workers in a sealed bag. They were literally required to move the couches 50 ft to the truck, no stairs. They said they wouldnt do for less than $589. I told them to get lost and they finally said what will you pay?

I told them the $199 minimum. They made believe they were calling their boss and agreed.

I was supposed to receive a receipt on line but havent.. AVOID AVOID AVOID
