Bait and Switch “Free Gift”

I was placing an order for shirts for my son for Christmas. I ordered 16 shirts which totaled over $750.

While I was placing my order, I kept getting a pop up window to select a free gift. (Black Friday special). I ignored it about 7-8 times. Finally, I selected a free pair of plain white athletic socks. (Probably worth $2 for the pair). I completed my order and checked out using a 15% coupon.

When I received my order receipt through my email, I noticed I was charged $15 for what was supposed to be a free gift- (the socks). I contacted customer support immediately and they got back to me the next day. They said the socks were only free if you didnt use any other discount code- it was in the fine print.

Ok, I understand- but its kinda a bait and switch/ SCAMMER move to not make it clearer that you would be charged for the item, especially when they kept popping FREE GIFT on your screen every couple of minutes.

You should see these socks- no one is going to pay $15 for these unless youre scammed into buying them- which is kinda what RSVLTS did here.

I emailed back and said I would not have purchased a $15 pair of white socks. I also asked if they could they please cancel the socks, since the order had not mailed out yet. They emailed backs saying they would try, but didnt promise anything.

Now, I know that this business was started by young guys, so maybe they dont have the common sense of not *** off a customer for a $2 pair of socks (because thats what they are worth). But if they dont cancel the socks, and ship them anyway- I will never buy from them again. After all, shirts are plentiful- much more Disney shirts.

They obviously dont have good business ethics when they are putting a good, repeat customer through this over something so insignificant. (Since I discovered them this year in August- I have already spent close to $2,000 in shirts for my husband and my son.

As a business person myself, I have learned that you have to have integrity when doing business. Keep your customers happy and they become repeat customers and feel valued.

Its not like I didnt bring this up to their attention after it was shipped and nothing could be done.

So far- I feel that the way theyve chosen to handle this- is terrible customer service. I dont have a lot of free time and Ive had to use so much of my time going back and forth with this. Honestly- Im really regretting having bought a single item from RSVLTS right now.

Got my order wrong

Number goes to a Spanish-speaking voicemail. I placed an order and paid for 3 to 5 day shipping and did not receive it within that timeframe and not only that they sent me the wrong item.

The invoice is right and the order on the website is right, but yet someone sent me a random shirt instead of the one I ordered. Poor customer service if you cant even contact them about an order that they messed up.

Customer service is non-existent

I have never seen a customer beg a company to let them buy their product and have the company not care at all.

Their website is no longer accepting any form of payment that I try and despite frequently sending them emails (their email address is really difficult to obtain), they really seem as if they couldn't care less.

I guess they are doing so well that losing a potentially good customer is just not of any importance to them. Really weird when their shirts are $70 a pop.

I'm sure that if I could speak with someone, we could clear this up in a moment, but good luck trying to find a phone number.

Nice pattern but cut as a taper dress shirt not a camp shirt. Polyester fabric dies not breath very uncomfortable in warm weather
