This woman is a fraud. Complete liar about being a breedertries to make it sound like a family affair.

Bought a King Charles Spaniel and he was coughing within one day. I had him into my vet within a couple days of owning him. He was diagnosed with pneumonia. He proceeded to decline went back to the vet and the emergency vet admitted with over 3K in vet bills was told that there was no possibility he would survive and was advised to humanely euthanize.

STACY was impossible to get a hold of claiming she was sick, I asked for a refund of the purchase price of the puppy she refused when I asked for another puppy. She was difficult and hesitant, but finally agreed only after I threaten to seek legal. I picked up our second puppy and had him vet visited within 24 hours bilateral ear infections and horrific ear mites. She lies and is a very unethical Breeder.

In fact Im convinced that she runs a puppymill. I found her ad in the startribune. I wouldve never knowingly purchased a dog from a puppy meal. She told me she had family dogs and that the females go into heat and that they enjoy having puppies around because of her children.

It is very apparent. She is running a puppy mill and only out there for the money. My dog absolutely smelled disgusting I cant imagine what these poor puppies are going through before they make it to a home it sounds like a lot of people have had puppies that have died and that should never happen.

My heart broken two as I held my puppy while they euthanized him. Please save yourself some heartache and never purchase from this woman.

Recently got 2 puppies from Stacy.

This woman is a liar.

She was super sketchy and would never give me her phone number. Would only facebook message. She would not let me come to her house to actually meet the puppies because she had a litter of puppies stolen 3 years ago She tells everyone this. Do not believe her. I have gotten multiple dogs from different breeders and I have always been able to multiple home visits.

She says there is one woman named Susan who wrote all the bad reviews- I called Susan and spoke to her, and others as well, and they all said the same thing that she is running a puppy mill. I wanted to save these poor dogs from that *** so I went ahead and got them.

Says the night before pickup that a deer hit her husbands car so they needed to meet at a different time.

Said she gave the puppies bathes but the smelt horrible and were covered in filth. The puppies have ear mites and the vet records given were completely faked. One of the two puppies I got was totally drugged and acting completely out of it for over 24 hours- so sad.

And to top it off- she told us we were getting 2 boys. it was actually one boy and one girl. When I told her about that she tried to blame her husband for making the mistake and that the girls go for 3 times as much so she should be happy about that

If the girls apparently go for 3 times as much wouldnt you be more diligent about sexing them properly?

She needs to be shut down. I feel so horrible for any animals in her possession

I paid Stacy Rustman a deposit for a puppy in January 2022. I was told puppies would be born in 50-60 days.

In March 2022, I messaged her asking about status and it was only then she told me that she didn't breed the dogs (seemingly legitimate reason but never communicated to me). I agreed to a substitute but the substitute dog only had 1 male pup and I had agreed for a female. I requested a refund of my deposit in March 2022 and Stacy agreed to provide. It is now August 2022 and I still have not received my money back.

I followed up several times over the months and was told she forgot and would send right away, that she had to wait for her husband to get checks, that she would get help from her daughter to venmo, she lost her phone, etc. Multiple excuses, no refund.

Now she is no longer responding to my messages. I know people who have purchased from her so I am incredibly disappointed that it has come to this point and I may have to pursue alternate routes to get my money back.

She would not let me know her address, would not let me meet parent dogs. Gave me wrong age if puppy, said it was 10 weeks and when I called her after getting the puppy, had to meet at Truck stop by the way; she gave me paperwork with one set of shots, no birth date; when I had to call her for info, she told me a date that makes him 13 weeks with one documented set of shots.

She lied about age. Told me I was harrassing her and she was going to report me. This puppy has stood up once in 48 hours so very introverted Got the pup fir husband who is disabled what a total nightmare this has been. When I needed info she said Im harassing her bring the pup back, she said she talked to her Lawyer and all I want is a free puppy?

Thankfully I made her sign a receipt for the $1000 dollars and there is NO way this puppy is ever going back in her hands. She lied and said Covid was the reason she would not at least bring parent dogs to meet when we picked up the pup, I called her Vet and asked if there was. A problem with Covid and dogs up there in Alexandria and they said no! All the red flags were up from the beginning but hubby had to have this puppy.

I sure hope this does not wind up bigger a worse problem. This woman is horrifying to deal with.

We bought a puppy from Stacy Rustman 4 years ago. We went to her house and picked one out.

The add stated the cost was $300. We are trying to buy another puppy from her right now (11-2021). We put a down payment on a pick of a puppy. Now she wont communicate with us.

She has plenty of excuses as to why she didnt call us per messaging. I truly dont understand her. I see clearly now that she is running a puppy mill. It dawned on me a couple of days ago that 4 years ago when we bought our 1st puppy from her the price doubled after we chose a puppy.

Red flag . She is completely money hungry. Please dont buy from her . She is also teaching her kids to sell puppies as its easy money.

Im so against puppy Mills. Just so lazy and greedy. Its terrible.

I purchased a puppy from Stacy who prior to her 1 year birthday was diagnosed with congenital patellar luxation. She never provided the paperwork on the site and dam as requested.

After contacting her about this issue she insisted I caused the problem, contacted my vet and harassed them for information, belittled me and accused me of lying about the situation despite having thorough documentation and surgery to correct it. She threatened restraining order and blocked all communication and refused to comply with health guarantee. Upon investigating her I have been in contact with numerous other customers who have experienced other issues. I subsequently found out my dogs sire was potentially known to have other congenital health issues and Stacy had written promised not to use him as stud again.

Her breeding and ethical practices are disturbing and unhealthy.

I am out thousands of dollars in vet bills for my dog. Her demeaning behavior was inexcusable and actually frightening.

I too purchased a puppy from her. She said it was a multipoo and yes she gave me some dewormer however the paperwork she handed me at pickup time said it was a cavapoo.

No birthdate on it.

Two days later I was at the vet with a sick puppy. She had worms and when I advised Stacy of such she said she would reimburse me the vet bill. Still waiting for reimbursement a year later. She did advise me the dewormer was expired.

I love my dog but she and her business should be shut down. Also, you cannot go to her place to see and pick out your puppy she will meet you somewhere with the back of her vehicle full of cages with all different kinds of puppies.

This has got to be a puppy mill. For sure..

SUMMARY: I got 2 puppies from Stacy. The first one died on 10-4-18 from congenital kidney disease.

The second one died on 1-21-20 from IMT (another congenital disease).

In addition to the heartbreak, I have spent just under $4,000 and Stacy wont even refund the purchase price. I have since learned that others have lost dogs from Stacy to illness.

If looking at getting a puppy from Royal Oaks Kennel from Ms. Rustman in Alexandria, MN, beware.

She won’t meet you at her house to pick up your puppy. She will meet you at a gas station, she will give you the wrong dog, she will give you a sick dog, she will then give you the run around and won’t give you your money back. Numerous families have gotten the run around from her. It’s exhausting.

She knows every loophole in the broken system of keeping dogs safe. Yes her dogs are half the price of other breeders but there is a reason why...they aren’t raised as well and taken care of as well as other breeders do. They don’t have all their shots.

She will hand you liquid dewormer at pick up of the puppy. She doesn’t give you the required MN Health certificate required by the state.
