Breach of Contract - Event Planning

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Jessy Craft, representing Roswell Lavish Event, regarding a grievous breach of contract and fraudulent business practices.

Our company engaged Jessy Craft's services to plan a wedding event for our client scheduled for July 2023, with a detailed contract outlining specific services to be provided, including food, floral arrangements, tent setup with lighting, linens, chandeliers, signage, and bartender services. Despite receiving payment in excess of $8,500.00, Mr.

Craft failed to deliver nearly half of the contracted services, leaving our client's event in disarray and causing significant distress.

Following numerous attempts to rectify the situation through email and text communication, including negotiations for partial reimbursement, Mr. Craft repeatedly assured us of full payment by the end of December 2023. However, despite these assurances, he has since failed to fulfill his obligations and has ceased all communication.

Mr. Craft's unprofessional behavior extended beyond non-delivery of services, as he arrived nearly two hours late for the event setup, he left early and didn't provide clean up services, he provided incorrect items including flowers and linens, and failed to uphold the standards outlined in our contract.

We are taking immediate legal action against Mr.

Craft and Roswell Lavish Event, as well as reporting this matter to the Better Business Bureau to alert others to his fraudulent activities.

Our documentation includes a comprehensive contract, photographic evidence of undelivered items, correspondence via email, text messages, and voicemails, all of which attest to Mr.

Craft's fraudulent practices.

We are urging the Better Business Bureau to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to protect consumers from falling victim to Mr. Craft's deceitful practices.

Preferred solution: We initially asked for full refund of services not provided ($4,223). We then negotiated a lower amount of $1,894.82. We are looking for payment as negotiated.
