Resolved: Lost item

Update by user Nov 21, 2022

Called back.

Original review posted by user Nov 21, 2022
Ive called the customer service line 8 times in three days to ask if anyone found and turned in a very important ring I lost, and Ive been unable to talk to anyone at all. Nobody is answering the phone, and even after calling the mall manager, I still got no response. The manager didnt pick up or return my call. Ive called over three days and at a variety of different times and still no answer. Its absolutely impossible to get in contact with anyone.

User's recommendation: If you lose something, go to the mall office immediately. Don’t depend on them answering your calls, because they simply won’t.

Absolutely insulted

The lady mall cop is very unprofessional and rude. She is not helpful whatsoever. I asked her for assistence and it seemed like I was a complete bother to her as she answered with no sincerity and quickly moved away from me leaving me with no help. Please correct her this is the second time she has been completely insincere and unhelpful. This is a pattern that needs corrected. Thank you.

Crooked Security Practices

I was shopping at Ross Park with my wife. While she was getting a haircut I wandered around. I had no bag or purse just me, my phone, and a sweater with no pockets. I am walking and am randomly grabbed by the arm by a security officer who proceeds to tell me i shoplifted and i cant deny it because they have video. Doesn't tell me what i supposedly stole, never asks me questions, wont let me talk to anyone, wont let me see the footage, talk to my accuser, nothing. Wont help me get ahold of my wife and tells me it's not their job and she doesn't care. Other guard tells me if he was innocent he'd be really calm, pretty much me being upset said i was guilty. They led me down a hallway with board walls, I didnt know where I was going and pretty much made it seem like I couldnt leave. They were rude, treated me like a criminal, never let me explain....pressured me to say i was guilty, though i always stuck with the same story. What they thought they saw was me dropping a $3 beanie baby in the store and picking it up and putting it away but they said they automatically take the stores side and it didnt matter what I said. In the end they banned me, no matter what I said or did. I dont have money to sue or appeal my rights, so now i am banned for zero reason. They threw a power trip at me before i left saying it didnt matter if i was innocent or guilty they could ban anyone, at anytime, for whatever they wanted. Pretty much they can do whatever they want whenever they want. The people they have working for security are ignorant and bring disgrace to the security field. From what Ive heard this is not the first complaint or first time they've done this. Beware.

BCBG ross park mall misleading staff

I don't usually shop at this store, but they were having a 40% off sale when I walked by, so I ended up getting a top that costs > $100 (which is still so ridiculous after sale price). I wasn't sure whether I liked the top once I got home, so decided to return or exchange after 15 days. The sales associate, Jocelyn, did not inform me of the 10 day return policy, and it's not like I shop here all the time, so now I'm stuck with a top that costs more than $100 because she won't even exchange it. Good thing, I asked for her name. Never will I shop here again. This other sales associate Meredith even butt in and said it wasn't their fault that I didn't read the bottom of the receipt. Now, I also work in retail. Our store's policy on sale items are 9 days, but since it is not the typical 30-day polict, we are REQUIRED to tell our customers about the return policy, so I know the associates are REQUIRED to tell you about their policy.

I was actually coming on here to post another store at Ross Park Mall and came across this. Now, I have shopped at BCBG multiple times and since you were so tacky as to name the sales associates I can tell you that those girls have both helped me before and were never rude or anything like that.

In reality BCBG's return policy does kind of suck (and has kept me from buying merchandise from them before); however every store has their own policy (Forever 21 is 21 days, Nordstrom is whenever you want, Target is 30 days, BCBG Outlet is final sale) and this can vary buy season too. So, any time I purchase something, especially if I'm not 100% I always ask. Also, $100 for a top is not ridiculous (it's relative- $100 for a Gucci blouse would be a steal, but I guess if you are shopping at Rue 21 normally this would be expensive to you); however it is expensive enough that I would not buy it as an impulse purchase, but that's me. I just find it really low that you would call out 2 people by name (which I never do on here) for just doing their job since it's the store's policy, not something that the wouldn't do because you are you.

The reality is is that you probably bought a shirt that you couldn't actually afford and now you have to blame others. So, here's a friendly tip: If you are going to buy BCBG stuff you might as well buy it from a big box retailer that sells BCBG stuff that has a return policy that will accommodate you.

Sheesh... you are probably the type of person whose kid would fall off the *** jungle gym while you weren't paying attention then you would sue the park.

BCBG Ross Park Mall Pittsburgh PA Rude Manager

The manager at BCBG Ross park mall was very rude and unprofessional in dealing with exchanges even with a valid gift receipt. She was hesitant in giving the exchange and told me that I needed the person who bought the gift for me to be there. I have never had that experience at any store before, & they consider themselves high end? no way. bad customer service. I also read they have a 10 day return policy. basically a policy worse than forever 21, & the sales assoc. don't tell you about it. scam. I think the name of the manager is Seleny or Elainey? She has long straight black hair. very rude.

Apparently you aren't familiar with people who attempt to get something for nothing by trying to scam the store. This type of behavior results in higher retail prices for everyone. Think before you speak.
