They allow scammers to operate
The TOS of the site says that, if you have a room to rent, you have to create a listing. But they allow scammers to operate through direct messaging, attempting to offer really poor rooms to people who aren't smart enough to know that this isn't legit. I've reported the same scammer operating in this manner 7 times over the course of a month and they've done nothing.
