Buyer beware

I would stay clear of this company. I purchased 2 sizes because I wasn't sure of my Grandaughters size.

First pair were small to even get on. I packed them up to return. They sent me an email saying the skates were scuffed and I couldn't get my full refund. This is exactly how they sent the skates.

When thy arrived I didn't see scuffs. I contacted BBB for help. Shipping box was destroyed upon arrival, much to large with no inside packing. I kept the larger skates because of the width but had to take them to Derby skates to get new bearings as the bearings on the brand new skates were bad.

I will never purchase another thing from them. Horrible experience!

Bad refund experience

Went to return birthday skates for child (wrong size). Somehow dog food got in with the shipping box (my bad) They said they were not in condition to exchange.

Due to seem glue and minow wheel scufs. They were in the same condition however when i recived them. Very passive aggressive during email transactions. Said they were going to just refund me less than half my purchased amount.

Asked if they could be sent back they said yes for 10$ shipping fee but "not right now" I asked why not with no response.

Went to thier website messenger where they said they were returning them. they refunded me the less than half price without confirmation

The sizing guidance on their site is woefully inaccurate. Ordered after measuring my foot as suggested and skates still did not fit. Returned skates the same day received, in perfect condition with all labels and packaging. I receive an email stating that I used the skates and that they were returned with stains and scuffs, which they were not. This rotten company kept 10% of my purchase price as a result. They are crooked and no good, don't buy her. Their website and selection is beautiful, but they are dishonest folks!

Terrible business practices. After you put items in your cart, they send a pop-up telling you they'll give you 15% off your order if you'll agree to give them your email address for marketing. After they have your email address and use it for their marketing purposes, they send you a coupon code that isn't valid. And they will not honor it when you call them out on it. Do not do business.

I purchased $50.00 beginner skates for my son that don't fit. Not only was he disappointed they don't fit, I now have to send them back and PAY my own return shipping fees. Not to mention online shows they may be charging additional restocking fees if needed! This is ludicrous that I am being charged to ship something back to them, especially when I already paid for it to be shipped to me. I will never order from here again!!!

I purchased a pair of Candi Girl in June of 2019, the skate portion ripped off the boot in January 2020. I contacted the company and they blamed my daughter saying she used them too much and then told me she used them on the street because the wheels were dirty. My daughter uses them once a week, if that at the skating rink. I let them know $80 skates should last more than 6 months and that I would be posting a bad review and this was their response Lauren replied Jan 13, 8:13pm Hello, I skated in Candi Girls when I started out and I still have them to this day. Your daughter's wheels are CAKED in dirty &;;;;;;;; grime that you find outside a rink. You don't get that kind of break right the at the bottom of the boot from "normal rink roller skate". And even though we sold you the skate, you have got to remember, we DO NOT represent Candi Girl brand. We sell that brand of skates. Just like every mom and pop online retail site would tell you, that is not a normal tear in the boot from every-day inside rink skating. And to top it off, those are only covered for 90 days from purchase. If they are out of warranty with the 3rd party company you purchased from, the next stop up is the manufacturer. And please don't get disgraceful and post untrue facts on the web. That is not how we like to handle issues like this. We provided you direct contact to the manufacturer sine our policies do not cover that. And for you to say something so immature to us like that, is direct reflection of the character you are. I ordered skates from this company April 1. I NEVER recieved my package (here we are exactly one month later May 1). Still no package! After the hassle of debating over my money and the package, Lauren from RSN stated verbatim "We fulfilled our end by shipping you the skates. This matter is between you and FedEx.". Without any investigation on there end, they COMPLETELY disregarded fulfilling the customers needs. Fed Ex stated their records show the package was delivered, it was scanned with a GPS location. Because the location was in the area of my apartment, and signature request was not used, the claim was denied. Neither FedEx nor RSN took the time to further investigate. For a package to be dropped off in the area of an apartment could be any of the multiple neighboring apartments or even the next apartment complex. They both did the bare minimum to further investigate and cover up an error on their end and I am left out my money and no package! Do not, DO NOT, purchase anything from this company unless you enjoy giving away free money, enjoy the hassle of poor customer service and unethical business! ***

I ordered skates for my fiance for our anniversary, she's joining roller derby, awesome. Well as of now it's been three weeks. Lauren keeps asking for my driver's license info to prove I'm the card holder. Twice I did this, probably stupid but, still nothing. I even talked to her in person. Do not get anything from them you'll regret it as I do. Lame. It's just roller skates

I have bought one of the expensive roller skates for my daughter.After wear them once and fell at the rink.Look and see what happened .Never happened with Walmart, Target or other cheap brand. I have called and emailed them to get my money back.Here’s their answer back to me: If your your child might fall accidentally at the rink what no body knows, I will not recommend this company to you.

I purchased a pair of skates from the crooks on March 30th 2016. The skates came quick but I ordered the wrong size based on the information that they have on their website suggesting a size down. I sent the skates back filled out the little form providing the information and here it is May 2nd and the company is refusing to acknowledge the receipt of the skate which was sent back to them on April 5th??? Their customer service number is a voicemail and when someone finally reached out to me after posting on their FB page trying to get assistance, they told me that their "warehouse" is in another state and that it would take months to find the return. What a joke! Worst purchase I ever done as I'm usually pretty good with determining *** reseller & drop ship companies online. After posting on the companies FB page, I noticed the company has either blocked me or changed the comments sections for me. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING PLEASE!!!!!!! I BEG YOU NOT TO DO IT!!

I've dealt with RSN before. Complete *** service.

You can't get the name of ANYONE over there nor can you speak to any type of management about issues.

They have a lot of complaints on thier BBB rating also.

It was definitely not good will but because my skates were returned as I have stated. There were definitely no threats made other than letting them know that I'd be disputing the transaction if you want to call that a "threat".

The bottom line is the company really needs to work on things like their return policy, tracking process and customer service. Once I received the refund, I removed the negative review on google and replaced with two simple words "thank you". After reading the company's response, I am further convinced that this is one company that it will do you good to stay away from. One word AMAZON.

Purchasing made simple with awesome customer service.. They can see your return before it ever reaches one of their humongous warehouses..

If they can keep things in order why can't a much smaller company? Signed Original Author.

She says she returned her order but the tracking number she gave was invalid. She refused to give us an accurate tracking number. We never received the return.

She has consistently threatened us (which is why we have blocked her from our Facebook page). We ended up giving her a 100% refund as "goodwill".

No customer service, and they will not refund my money!

I bought a pair of Riedell skates from Roller Skate Nation on February 10th for 424 dollars and did receive them, but they were too small so I had to send them back for an exchange, which I paid for the day I sent the first pair back so I could have expedited shipping. I paid for a more expensive pair...599 dollar Riedell Legacy roller skates, and Roller Skate Nation was supposed to refund me the original 424 dollars when they received the first pair...WHICH THEY DID...but they have not and will not refund my money for the skates I returned! The exchange pair is supposed to be on backorder till March 10th so I don't know if they have stolen that 599 from me or not. THEY NEVER, EVER, EVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE! They WILL NOT return your calls! They WILL NOT reply to email or messages left on their site! If you look at their reviews on FACEBOOK they have MANY complaints and almost all 1 star ratings! Since I could get no communication from them, I began asking them on their Facebook profile when they would give me my refund and THEY BLOCKED ME! They don't want the public to know they are crooks! I am out over A THOUSAND dollars to Roller Skate Nation and have to go through Paypal to fight for my money back!

I guess I can post a follow up. Roller Skate Nation did finally refund all my money and also sent the skates I ordered.

They don't rush to resolve anything, but all is well now. I won't buy from them ever again though.
