I called Roku customer service because my remote ear piece on the Roku 2 stop working. I purchased a ROKU Premiere+ Box at Costco. There was an offer on the package that promised a $20.00 credit towards a SLINGTV account. I followed instructions to sign up but subsequently, there was no credit on my Sling account. Sling advised me to call ROKU. My Roku will interrupt the picture with white flashes. As others have reported, all tech support tells me to do is reset the device, try another TV, try another cable etc. When I do all this and the problem persists they just tell me to do it again. I have honestly never seen a company that has such a complete disregard for customer service. They apparently do not understand the words "defective" and "warranty". My suggestion to any potential... It would be nice if Roku customer service could actually help you with a problem. But no I was told since my TV does not have HDMI input I was basically out of luck. The issue with losing video was going to be there for now on. They don't get enough people still using older TV to fix the issue.

Have the Roku 4. Constant blue flashing on 4K content. Many calls to customer service with same negative outcome. They read from a script and can't think outside the box. Same old thing, unplug, plug in, reset router. I have a Netgear Nighthawk tri-band gigabit router and 75 mbps. Have it connected with Ethernet cable. Blue flashing and YouTube 4K content freezes up. You have to pay for everything! I have comcast but my bill is so high I only have one box in the living room. I thought getting this would be a cheaper alternative for my boys to watch tv in their room, WRONG! You pretty much have to have a subscription with a cable or satellite provider, Hulu, or Netflix to watch anything! If not their are channels you can pay a monthly subscription too! Smh! Sleasiest company ever. Go to install new stick over Christmas holiday. Everything proceeds as normal. Go to create online account portion that's needed to proceed with install. Credit card info is needed to proceed. Who does this? Red flags are going off in my mind already, but there is no where on the page on how to proceed with installation without entering credit card (I find out later that after 6 failed attempts it will give you the...
