Yesterday after a dr appointment who suggested I go to Rogans to find the special shoes she thought I should purchase. The personnel will help find what you need. So, I walk in and see an associate

Associate talking and not to interrupt I kind of just hung around in the next aisle. The associate came up to me asked if I needed help. I said yes the dr just referred me to come here and get special arch support as I needed something with a lot of support. He says to me I hate it when they do this like I know what they mean. I said here the description of what she suggested, and handed him the paper. He then pulled out 2 different pairs of shoes and told me to try them and walked away never to be seen again. I did get one of those pairs but said to myself what a great help . I worked retail for over 30 years and would never have treated a customer like this. Someone should inform the medical people that they will not get any help here. Sorry but I spent nearly $200 to be treated like a nobody. Thank you for listening. This is Rogans in Wausau WI

Buyer Beware

Purchased a pair of New Balance shoes online assuming that the transaction was for a NEW PAIR. When I opened the shipping box, that was poorly prepared for shipping, I found a pair of shoes placed in a Rogans plastic bag within a crushed shoe box with the lid torn off. It was evident that these shoes weren't new. Customer service representative, Tara, informed me that the shoes may be shipped from one of many locations and that the pair that I purchased was a "clearance" item (not disclosed on the website). She further stated that there should have been a disclaimer indicating that - there wasn't. So, buyer beware. Whether you receive a "brand new" pair of shoes will probably be hit or miss. My prior experience with Rogans, however, has been positive-purchasing 3 pairs prior to this one.

Poor Customer Service

Rogans Shoes is a shoe store that has the worst return policy. The store will not give you any money back once you buy the shoes. They are yours for good so you need to be careful. We both tried on a pair of shoes and found them to be overpriced at $100.00 each. I decided I would wait on mine. The girl rolled her eyes sighed, "I wish people wouldn't waste our time." She said under her breath. We spoke to the manager about her rudeness and the manager said "We don't need your business, you are always unhappy hear, why doncha let Racine know about all your problems." We called a gentleman named Mark at the main office in Racine and he said he would fix the problem. I think it is highly unlikely that anything will change.
