Sick puppies at Rocky Valley Kennels Puppy Boutique

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased a Bichon puppy paying $1545.00 only to get a puppy with a very bad yeast infection in both ears, a bad respiratory infection and mites. Not to mention a $300.00 Vet bill.

I feel so sorry for those poor unhealthy animals at the disgusting place. They should be arrested for animal cruelty.

NO, STAY AWAY!! LIES, LIES, LIES!

We purchased our dog from ROCKY VALLEY KENNELS in Blountville, TN, last Thursday evening, February 20, 2020, 7 days ago. We paid $800 plus tax (cash) to this so-called boutique kennel.

I had to take our new dog to the vet the very next day, Friday, February 21,2020. He had an ear infection, plus another$194 for rabies vaccine, worms, fleas, etc. NO, they will not cover the vet bill, I called them and this isn't life threatening. Also, my 5.3 lb (2.4 kg) pup really weighs 7.3 lbs when he was weighed at the vet's.

Another lie!

Fast-forward to Wednesday, February 26, 2020, back at the vet and our sweet pup has a fever, upper respiratory infection, still has an ear infection. Another $145 and I have to take him back tomorrow to check his temp again. I was told over the phone by the manager at RVK that Dr Presnell in Bristol, TN was their vet and administered all their vaccines. Another LIE!

Dr Presnell's office was contacted today, February 27, 2020, and they have never seen any of these dogs, nor have ever associated themselves with this so-called boutique kennel.

Later this evening, Wednesday, February 26, 2020, back to vet and our dog still is running a low fever, so I will return on Thursday, February 27, 2020, yet again to have his temp taken. I want restitution for this kennel's action. I have had people after people contact me with similar experiences as my family's. Seems the younger the pups, the healthier they are, just dirty and antisocial.

Pups that are 3-6 months old like our dog (4 mos) are the ones that are having issues with their health. There is a pattern here. This has to put STOPPED! Not only abuse to these animals, but lies, cheating and stealing from poor innocent people.

We love this little dog and hope and pray we can get him better. PLEASE DO NOT BUY any pups from ROCKY VALLEY KENNEL. They deny our dog ever being sick.

Baloney, these dogs are NOT taken care of and I have no doubt we rescued this dog. Again, DO NOT BUY from th

I am so sorry that you have had this experience. We have rescued a newf, whom we ADORE, who we just found out came from this horrible breeder.

He has a multitude of health issues and was severely neglected for the first 3 years of his poor life. He is now safe with us, and thriving. My question to you, is, why in the world would you support a breeder like this, by buying from them. There are so many obvious red flags when you look at their website.

I was appalled when I went to their website for the first time.

As responsible moral animal loves and pet owners we/you MUST NEVER SUPPORT a breeder like this. If you are looking for a reputable breeder, ever, visit the NCA website for a list of certified, reputable, exemplary Newfoundland breeders.

Sorry for your experience. A good "reputable" breeder avg cost per pup is $2000-$3000 dollars.

You can check the Newfoundland club in America for a list of reputable breeders. Prayers for a quick recovery.

So many people have been scammed by this place not to mention the abuse to these animals.

That is pure BS. They had been breeding dogs in another state without a License!

They lost a boarding business, because of being EVICTED!! Do not TRUST this Business.

Not Rocky Valley Farm Landseer Newfoundlands

I have had several calls now regarding this breeder. People confuse this breeder with us at Rocky Valley Farm Landseer Newfoundlands.

We are NOT Rocky Valley Kennel who is being discussed here and we only breed top quality Landseer Newfoundlands and are located in Greeneville TN. If you came to this page and thought this review was about Rocky Valley Farm Newfoundlands it is not and feel free to contact me anytime by going to my extensive website or my number below. Please contact me if you have been mislead they were us or are confused or concerned about us being this place because we aren't and you are welcome to visit us anytime to see our beautiful farm and Landseer Newfoundland dogs in person. We breed only top quality Landseer Newfoundlands where as Rocky Valley Kennel evidently breeds multiple various small dogs as far as I can tell.

Unfortunately they use a similar name in their advertising for their dogs thus can benefit from our breeding programs excellent reputation and similar location though I have never seen the place or even know if it actually exists! They also advertise a place in SC from what I have researched. I have no idea who they are but evidently they sell pups and many are reported to be sick though I have no verification of this fact and I am only going by this report as well as customers who called me about them. Please be cautious if buying a puppy from Rocky Valley Kennels thinking you are buying from Rocky Valley Farm because you are not.

I also do not allow breeding of any of my dogs so if they say they breed registered newf pups from our farm that is also false.

Just call me at 423.552.7064 with any concerns or if you thought you were speaking with Rocky Valley Farm Landseer Newfoundlands before you buy a pup from these people. This is the only contact number for us and I have no problem speaking with you to clarify the difference or help keep you from making a purchase that you thought was different.

I actually had the misfortune of being a victim of them last year I bought a dog from her and a jeep full of kids in Walmart parking lot rogersville, he became so sick and cost us so much money... Over the next two months... But that's ok now I know where to find them, I cried for 3 months over that dog

Sorry to hear this. I am sure that was very upsetting.

Families can come to our farm and pick their pup up here and meet with me for questions and so forth. I am not sure what type of dog you got from them. I am assuming a toy breed like most have described. I only breed newfs and most graduate from our training program and become service animals.

If you ever are in the market for a good family dog that is on the larger size I would be glad to match your family with a healthy family oriented new fur friend. .
