Extremely disappointed
My husband and I went to test drive Nissan Murano platinum. Loved it!
They came down to a price that we were definitely ready to pay. The manager Omar told us we couldn’t get the zero percent financing because they dropped the price so much. We told him we were thinking about paying cash and he upped the price by 1000 dollars. This isn’t our first new car.
Toyota gave us a price years ago and it didn’t matter how we payed. We payed cash and they didn’t up there price. Needless to say we didn’t buy the car due to the price increase. Also if we decided to finance we had to go through them.
Absolutely ridiculous! Extremely disappointed on how they do business
Sleazy
took advantage of a single working mother w a bs ext warranty, we cancelled a couple of days after purchase and it took 4 months to get money back. it was a nightmare 100's of calls emails etc

WARNING!!! WARNING!!!
STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM ROCKLAND NISSAN AS YOU CAN! I brought my van in for service on July 8th. The van needed a new transmission and some other work. I have been trying to get regular updates from them and there has been very little effort at communication on Nissan's part.
I called corporate and got them involved and only since then did they even try to keep me updated. I was given a rental car and I've had it since Monday the 10th. I received and e-mail - not a call that the van was finally ready today. I left work early to get there before they closed and pick up my van - finally!
I have been asking for weeks now if there were going to be any charges and if there was a deductible, etc. with no answer. I was trying to avoid a surprise and it didn't work. I got socked with a $300 bill for the rental car.
It was not my fault that the part took two weeks to get here but somehow I should be responsible for that. It's just adding insult to injury. Well I didn't even make it home before it started bucking horribly and I seriously thought I wasn't going to make it home. I tried desperately to call the dealer but they just kept shuffling me around telling me they were "busy".
Now I am stuck with no car. Do yourself a favor go ANYWHERE else.
I seriously don't know what to do anymore. I can't get corporate to call me back and I am just getting nowhere.

Preferred solution: Full refund, towing of my car back to dealer, fixing it correctly, new rental (free) while car is being worked on.
DO NOT COME HERE! BEWARE
If I can give this place ZERO I WOULD! PLEASE READ.
I purchased my car from New Rochelle's Nissan dealership. However, I live in Rockland and so I go here to service my car. I have a 2012 basic model Altima. I pay $230/mth and $133 for insurance.
3/21 I go in to get my inspection done but was told they were booked and to return Wednesday at 1pm. So I walked over to the showroom to inquire about a letter i received in the mail about trading in my car and having the same to lower payments. I sit with Michael Britt and asked about this letter. He stated that they were trying to get new inventory and in doing so they needed to get rid of the cars on the lot.
FFW, I told him while I did not come here to purchase a car, if the numbers are right I will do it! FFW, I test drove a 2014 Maxima. I was told it had navigation and Bluetooth. Perfect!
So I said let's talk numbers. I do not want pymts to be higher than $300. The sales manager I forgot his name. Some chunky guy that sits in the front said he'd do 335.
So I said, you know what for the car and make, that is appropriate. Honestly, something told me to leave but I figured I came too far so I stayed. But this feeling never went away. So I go sit with Jamie Casanova, a finance manager.
Seemed like a stand-up guy but he had a weird presence about him. All in all we had a friendly conversation. He showed me the screen with $397 per month, I said no, that is not what was discussed. He's like this is with wrap around coverage.
I went back and forth between getting it and I ultimately did. But he showed me he can get my payment to $347 a month. The car is 20 grand. I said ok.
Again, I still felt weird but I ignore it. So I go do the insurance part my insurance is now 187 a month. Now I begin to really question it but I already signed on the computer. I go back to sit with Mike and he tells me, my payments are $381.
I said, wait what? He said go talk to Jamie, he's the finance guy. I am like now I did not see that on the screen. I go look for him and he is gone for the evening.
FFW, I go home and I feel guilty, like why would I get into a car and the payments are higher and my interest rate is 5.8% meanwhile my Altima I had 3.4% rate and my credit score wasn't as high as it was three years ago. So I made the decision to return the car. FFW, this is when my headache began. I met with SAEED, he's a sales manager I believe.
He thought I just wanted a better care because I thought I was paying too much. When all I wanted was to unwind the deal and get back into my old car. Jamie comes out he talks to my father and I in his office. I said the payments are just too much for me I realize.
He said I can buy my old car back at 16k! WAITT WHAT!? I ONLY HAVE $8500 LEFT ON THE CAR I didn't even finance it that much the first time around. Then he tells me the maxima was 23K.
Where did the 3k come from? So again ffw. I leave in tears like *** I am royally screwed. So, I had my uncle who is a car broker in Jersey call.
No help. So everyone I speak to is like they screwed you over including my uncle. They made money off of you that is why they aren't budging. Your credit score is good, they should've put you in a better car with a lower interest rate.
SO I GO BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN WITH MY BOYFRIEND AND HE GETS INTO IT WITH JAMIE. JAMIE NOW WANTS TO CALL THE POLICE TO SAY WE ARE BEING DISRUPTIVE. THE POLICE COME. GUESS WHAT THAT WAS THE BESSSSTTT THING JAMIE'S IGNORANT AND ARRONGANT SELF DID!
HE WAS SO QUICK TO SHOW THEM PAPERWORK AND GUESS WHAT, PAPERWORK I NEVER EVEN GOT A COPY OF. THE CAR WAS NOW 28,0000! WHERE DID THAT COME FROM! JAMIE WAS SO QUICK TO SHOW THE COP OH THERES NO COOLING PERIOD BUT GUESS WHAT THE COP FOUND?
THE NEXT SENTENCE SAID UNLESS THERE WAS SOLICITATION WHICH THERE WAS BECAUSE THEY SENT A LETTER TO ME! THE OWNER WAS THERE AND HE SAID JUST GIVE THIS GIRL BACK HER CAR UNWIND THE DEAL IT IS NOT WORTH IT. EVEN THE COP SAID GIVE HER BACK THE CAR! AND YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE THE COPS SAID DO NOT EVER COME HERE THEY ARE CROOKS AND THIEVES.
HE ASKED ME WHY I EVEN WENT THERE TO BEGIN WITH. JAMIE WAS SO MAD. JAMIE WAS SO MAD HE SAID HE COULD'VE WENT TO GET A GUN AND END THINGS WHEN HIM AND MY BOYFRIEND WERE ARGUING BUT INSTEAD CALLED THE POLICE. MAYBE THAT WOULD'VE ENDED BETTER FOR YOU JAMIE, YOU IN PRISON OVER A SHADY DEAL.
YOU LOSER. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING WHEN YOU DO BAD, GOD SEES IT ALL AND HE WAS IN MY FAVOR. YOU ALL ARE CROOKED FROM TIM O'KEEFE (WHO TRIED TO BE BUDDY BUDDY WITH MY BF AND I AFTER THE COPS LEFT) DOWN TO ALL THOSE SALESMAN. I AM GOING TO SEE THIS PLACE GETS INVESTIGATED.
IT WENT FROM 20K TO 23K TO 28K. wITHOUT ME EVER SEEING A THING. MIKE BRITT STAYED AT HIS CUBICLE THE WHOLE TIME. JAMIE YOU'RE AN IGNORANT, IMBECILE, SHORT, SCAM ARTIST FOOL WITH A BALDING HEAD.
HOPEFULLY, you will shoot yourself in the foot with your gun ***. I WANT TO CURSE BUT I GAVE IT UP FOR LENT.
SO THATS THE BEST I CAN DO. STAY AWAY FROM THESE FOLKS.
Rockland Nissan - Car Lease Review from New York, New York
BEWARE LEASERS!!!
I leased a Nissan Altima from this dealership and was promised many things and unfortunately it has been the WORST financial decision of my life. Believing the promises from Tim O'Keefe as he sells you on a falsely perceived lease agreement with low payments may look great when you sign off but BEWARE!!!
Save yourself the trouble because he does not deliver his promises!!! I got hit with over a thousand dollars in penalties after he told me face to face MULTIPLE times that the charges would be removed from my account and not to worry. After he promised to have the penalties removed and I called to follow up daily I went to check my credit report and discovered all the charges from returning my lease were in fact on my report and not taken care of as he SOLELY PROMISED! The worst part was that after discovering this, I reached out to Tim O'Keefe and he has been completely avoiding my phone calls and emails.
Not one professional phone call return apologizing for lying and ruining my credit score. The worst nightmare ever - truly upsetting how a car salesman manager can be so negligent, deceitful, irresponsible, and careless.
Horrible Experience!
Hello,
I would like to report a bad experience that I had at Rockland Nissan. Naturally, this reflects badly on Nissan as a whole.
My car was in an accident, so I brought it into the dealership for a quote. I was told that the quote is free. I decided to pull out the vehicle and not do the work there. All of a sudden there was a $125 bill to release my vehicle. I called "customer relations" and asked if there was a charge for a quote, without revealing who I was. She said no. After she confirmed that, I told her my story. All of a sudden she had an urgent call come in, and she had to put me on hold. (I didn't know that she doubled as a 911 operator.) She came back with a completely different story, and told me that everyone in the shop knows that there is a charge, so no one could have told me its free. I ended up paying the $125 so that I could get my vehicle released. By the way, I was an established customer at their shop.
Preferred solution: Full refund

Back in 2011 My Fiance bought a used Nissan Altima from Rockland Nissan he rolled over a loan from another car and now owes close to 20 grand. The owner showed 4 people the clean carfax report with no accients on it.
In November 2013, My fiance went to go to trade in the vehicle at another car dealership recently and they pulled up the car fax report. It showed 3 accidents one of which he had in 2011, which he knew about. The other two back in February and April 2011 he didn't even own the car. He bought the car in 2013.
Now the car is only worth about 4 grand and he can't bury the old loan.
Those other two car accidents are causing him not to get a car. What recourse do we have against the car dealership because we had no idea that there were the other two accidents until the other dealership pulled it up.
Wish I would have listened to the complaints
I ignored the bad reviews hoping it was overreaction. It isn't.
This place has completely unethical business practices. The salesmen lie to you and the finance department will try to confuse you so you sign up without realizing they are changing the terms. Stay Away
The salesmen will tell you what you want to hear and then when you go to the finance department to actually pay for the vehicle you will get a completely different story. I don't think I will ever be able to get my car fixed here as I just don't trust them.
I love the car but ended up paying more than we originally agreed to. I am also still waiting for a minor repair and some other things that were supposed to come with it.
Exceeded my expectations
I came to Rockland Nissan to repair a check engine light on my vehicle that 2 other dealers were unable to fix. I showed up for my 8am appointment and was greeted by a friendly service advisor named Tim.
He offered me a car to use even though I didn't buy the car from them and told me he would call when they had figured out the cause of the problem. I received a call within 2 hours informing me that the car was repaired and explained what the issue had been.
I was also told that the car was being washed for me. Thanks Rockland Nissan.
Rockland Nissan/Excellent Service/Sales
This was the best deal on an Altima I could find anywhere. I shopped 3 stores, and finally took a trip a few miles farther than I would have liked to, but thats just the way its got to be to get a good deal.
Rockland Nissan may have had a lot of customers that day (they must have been having a promotion) but they managed to treat me like I was the only person in the room, and - I left very happy"Ž, and would visit again in the very near future. Their entire staff made this a great day for me, and sometimes buying a car just isnt that fun

I went to pick up my car and they took the new tires off and put old bald tires on my new car. I cancelled the sale.
I work there we do only honest work. Compared to other shops I worked at this is the best on so far.
