I ride Jacksonville express bus daily Tues Sept 26th I attempted to get the bus where I usally do across the street from the statehouse convention centerat the corner diner the lady bus driver did not want to stop ,the only reason she did is that the light turned red ,and when I boarded the bus she said in a loud voice mame'u need to go to the travel center I am not suppose to stop here since when there is a sign there with #36 on it this is the last bus for Jacksonville 6:30 and I am not the only passenger that gets the bus there to Jacksonville, I have worked there in the downtown area now for 28 yrs have been on a lot of busses, I also ride the bus to work

Today is Martin Luther Kings birthday. In memory of such and the great things he did rrmetro(cat buses) in little rock arkansas are free to ride all day.
I am a homeless gentleman but very nice very quiet very respectable. The weather is absolutely terrible all day. Raining and cold. I thought ok ill ride the buses around town sight see and stay warm.
Im on the Mabelvale bus and the driver who is African American asks me in a slightly authoritative tone where im going. I said to the end of your run. Im just riding along to stay warm. Right away he says Oh no no no!
You cant be doing that! I know its free ride day but theres no joy riding. Im caucasion and i noticed this driver harassing another caucasiion individual also. That individual exited the route early.
I see Mr. King did alot of good.
