This issue has not been resolved. In fact we received documents from Synchrony saying we owe for merchandise that was not delivered and is now magically special order even though it does not say that on the contract.
Their contract says special order items are non-refundable, but you can't magically make items special order anytime you want in an effort to get someone to not refund it. Also we filed a dispute with Chase regarding our deposit because we feel they have already been overpaid by Synchrony. They told Synchrony they credited back our deposit while they still continue to fight to keep it. I was sent a cease and desist letter that said law enforcement specifically spoke to me that I may be arrested if I continue to post on social media.
I asked the attorney where he got that information from and he said Mr. Pelusio.
The irony is the letter said I said false things while Mr. Pelusio lied about the whole incident about law enforcement speaking to me.
I meant to say they are known as Rochester Flooring Kitchen & Bath now
They are also known as Rochester Kitchen Flooring & Bath now. They took $29,200 upfront.
The owner Albert Pelusio, Jr. sent threatening and insulting texts. They worked part time and at the end of three weeks our cabinets were still not installed. Six weeks later they still have not returned any money.
We went without our built in microwave and cabinets for 6 weeks, light in kitchen for a month and also dishwasher, hot water, and ice/water to refrigerator.
Three weeks after they stopped working they still have not returned any money, and they have definitely been overpaid. We were told by other contractors that you should not remove old cabinets until you have the new ones and that the quality of the work they did was not good.
Preferred solution: Price reduction
Worse Company to work for
I worked for Rochester linoleum and decided to resign from the company. Albert Pelusio the owner is a thief and stole money from me refusing to pay me for work hours I did for him.
Albert Pelusio who has a terrible reputation in the flooring industry and takes money from customers and does not deliver installation on time even after customer's paid. I have made several times to contact the HR department as instructed from Albert pelusio and yet they have not responded back. My last day was July 14th 2017 and they will not pay me my $360. I resigned to the fact that Albert Pelusio has financial problems and cannot pay his vendors because he is in debt therefore he cannot deliver insulation for customers after the customers placed their orders and pay for the items.
Albert Pelusio hides behind his door and has his manager Richard Scott take care of his work and lie Albert has Richard lie to customers because he's not man enough to do it himself.
I would not recommend anybody doing business with this company because they do not deliver products to their customers and do not have the money to even pay their employees. Albert Pelusio is a bully and tries to intimidate his customers and his employees, Rochester Linoleum is a fraud
Crooks, Theives, Liars, Scam Artists, Should be in Jail
Ordered carpet. Gave deposit.
$500. Was told it was in, but they wanted to come to the house and re-measure so they didn't make any mistakes in cutting the correct lengths. Came out and said they needed another $1000 to because their first measure was incorrect a bit. The following week.
They tell us they made a mistake and ordered the wrong carpet. Will reorder and set an install date. Guess what !! They cancelled again.
That was three months ago. So I go to the store, ask for my F""""""" money back. They call the cops because I am threatening them. The cops, both of them who show up laugh at them because they want me arrested for threatening them.
Both of the cops families were scammed by these crooks. We are now filing a criminal complaint and having larceny proceeding started. But ,, its not over.. The "owner" calls to apologize and offers a more expensive carpet at the same price and will install immediately.
Yeah right. Like I would let any of these scammers near my property again.
I will make myself go broke litigating these crooks just for the satisfaction. Game on.
Preferred solution: Full refund

Cannot meet commitments!!!!!! Avoid Avoid Avoid
I wish I read these reviews before we bought. We purchased both tile and hardwood to repair a water damaged bedroom/bath for a vacation rental.
Took three vacation days to be there for the repairs and they only showed up one day (late). The installer, who was nice, was only able to get 1/2 the job done and promised to show up the next day when the hardwood was to go in. No show on both counts. We are now sitting here with 1/2 done bathroom and no bedroom floor while they sit on thousands of our deposit $$.
I've been renovating several times over 30 years of home ownership and never have I been treated as shabby as this company. Avoid at all cost - the discounts they promise is not worth the aggravation.
Rochester Linoleum And Carpet One - Carpet Installation Review from Rochester, New York
Run, don't walk away from them. This place took my deposit money at the end of march, a week later, the day before the guys were supposed to measure, they call to tell me that No one wrote down the names of the samples the measure guys were supposed to bring, and could I describe them in color, and location in the store. Nice. Bad omen. The guy comes to measure, and we set a date of 4/25 to install. 4/23 comes around, and no call. We call them, only to find out that nobody was ever gonna call. There is no carpet. Now they tell us probably another week. This goes on week after week. Meanwhile, my whole house is torn apart because all the bedrooms and den furniture are shifting down a room. But I still have to keep this one key room empty. Cuz it's coming "any day now ". Here it is mid may, and I'm good and mad at this point. Now I'm out of time, as my daughter is moving in. Her queen bed will go in the living room, and her stuff in the dining room. No one is able to tell me just where this mysterious and elusive carpet is. Lots if phone calls, lost paperwork, and excuses. Now here is the funniest part. I call last night (have them on speed dial now for the sake of convenience) and they say it's in! And that I should call today to schedule the install. I nearly peed my pants with joy. It was short lived. Very, very short. They made another oopsy, and it's not here. No idea where it is. I have to fill out a form and have the manager "review" to possibly get a refund. Nice way to do business. Didn't need a manager to take my money. While filling out their useless form, I saw a poor old couple that seemed to be going through the very same thing. After I left, i realized that i should have just gone through my bank to get my money returned. So thats what i did. Sad. I left there without my money, no carpet, and very few answers. I will never buy anything from them again, and hope no one else does. As a side note, I would like to mention that I had, in the past used rochester linoleum in greece to buy several rooms of flooring. That location is now closed. The salesman named Mike was amazing. Very professional, very customer oriented, fun to work with, and knowledgeable. Also, he never blew smoke up my ***. To bad that store closed.
Bullied and threatened
RL was subcontractor on a kitchen remodel. Three years later, out of the blue, they served with certified letter announcing their intent to sue us because our contractor allegedly hadn't paid them for part of the job.
We never hired RL, we never had any direct relationship with them, we never got a bill from them. They are cozy with our contractor (with whom, BTW, we had to terminate after a 30+ year relationship).
Apparently, our contractor had been in RL's office the day before, claimed we hadn't paid HIM for the job, and on his verbal say so, RL demanded proof of our payment to the contractor, or, as they said threateningly, "We'll see you in court." This was extremely unnerving to people like us, who pay every single bill as soon as we get it. When we did finally get a copy of the invoice, it was made out to the contractor, not to us, and didn't even have our correct names in the space for customer name.
Rochester Linoleum & Carpet SUCKS!!!!
Apparently the Rochester Linoleum & Carpet (at least the one in Webster) hires independent contractors to install the carpets and floors they sell by somehow consigning these jobs to them.
The vinyl flooring was scheduled to arrive and be installed first. This was so the installers would not be tracking all over new carpet. The vinyl however, did not show up when it was supposed to, so the carpet and laminate went in first. No problems with the laminate, however the guy that came to install the carpet did a horrible job! Carpet was not tacked down in certain areas (didnt even install tacking strips). The installer not only scratched up our baseboards and moulding, but caused damage (gouges) in several areas of the baseboards and moulding and also scratched up the paint on various parts of the wall. The gouges had to be filled with wood putty and then reprimed and repainted. There was damage to walls that extended up to 5 feet from the floor in certain areas, well out of expected range of carpet installation - obviously carelessness. While installing carpet the guy kicked up a piece of brand new laminate that had been installed the day before. His solution: drive a nail into it to nail it down and don't mention it to the home owners... I had to repaint the baseboards and several walls after the carpet went in, as well as repair several gouges.
Finally the vinyl flooring arrived. The vinyl was installed in a small foyer just inside my side door and on the steps leading down into the basement. The installers somehow ripped the wires from the house's alarm system out from the wall and left about 2 feet of wire dangling from the floor... now my side door is off line according to the alarm panel. They left that without notifying the home owner. Additionally, the vinyl installers did not bring the floors flush to the walls and edges, in some cases as much as a 1/4 inch of seperation leaving the subfloor exposed. In some cases the installers used some type of sticky brown caulk to hide the gap between the edge of the flooring and the wall/or step. The caulk is visible and sticky and looks horendous! The floors began to bubble up the next day. They did so much damage to the paint on the walls that the walls from floor to about 3 feet up need to be totally repainted. Not just scratches either... divits and gouges that will need to be filled. The gouges were most like from their tool belts and other items hitting the walls. They reported none of this damage to my wife, who was home at the time. When they were finished, two guys hopped into their car and the third guy yelled to my wife that they were finished. My wife began to examine their work and brought up some of the damage that she began to find. He left quickly and would not address any of her concerns other than to say that the walls would have to be touched up. They left all the garbage and debris on my driveway, completely blocking my garage door. They never cleaned or vacuumed and left a mess at the bottom of of the stairs for my wife to sweep up and carry out.
I spoke to the service manager the afternoon that they left. He was less than hospitable and lacked the customer service-like tone I needed to hear, leaving me worried that I was out of luck. They are sending someone out in a few days to assess all of the damage to my house. Whether they make good, whether they make partially good, or whether this will end up being the worst home inmprovement experience of my life remains to be seen, however I can say now for certain, that my house rennovations should be completed, all of my furniture should be moved back, and I should be sitting in a newly rennovated home, looking at it and smiling as I sip a hot cup of coffee and feeling proud, however I am doing just the opposite. These guys are horrible and if you choose to ignore this review and hire them anyway, just remember I told you so...

I was really interested in your review because this is what I suspected was going on since they have $29,200 from us and when they stopped working 4 weeks ago no cabinets were installed, no countertop, no lighting, etc. I would love to hear more from you and I would be willing to help you try to find the right agency to help you as I am really good at research.
We asked the Attorney General's Consumer Frauds Division to get involved in our case. Thanks.
