We were sold a stolen double wide trailer that we were lied to about. Turns out it was never renovated like we were told.
It was filled with Asbestos and bad wiring, also there was no HUD certification and those are near impossible to get on homes built before 1974. My wife, my three toddlers and I bought some property and were in the mind set to try and build a home on our 6 acre lot in Walsenburg, COLORADO. And even planed on possibly starting a business of sorts. When we were told we could not use the trailer to live in are entire lives fell apart.
We ended up stuck living in hotels for 5 months with our 3 toddlers, and were forced to rent an overpriced apartment. We hired Robinson and Henry to sue the lady over the stolen trailer. They seemed great at first, but in short order they proved themselves a bunch of scam artists themselves. They kept charging us money even when nothing was happening in our case.
They even seemingly started to feel like they were on the other persons side. They basically charged us 5k just to send a letter to person who sold us the trailer. Which had about as much effect as a mere Facebook post. I started to get a bad feeling about them, like they were seriously taking us for another ride.
So I looked up Robinson and Henry on the Better Business Bureau website, and everything I felt was happening was more than validated by other people complaints about said company. They charged one fella 150k for legal charges in which the payout was 150k. They are a purely Fraudulent Law firm that preys upon desperate victims, and should be disbarred and put out of business. We ended up dropping our case which we could have easily won were we properly represented.
They took us for several thousand dollars for nothing and further ruined my credit when I refused to pay the rest of their unjust fees. Keep in mind all they ever did for that money was send a letter.
Id give them zero stars if it was possible. Id stay far away from Robinson and Henry law firm.
