on June 1, while visiting friend there camping, manager cam up to elderly couple and their children were opening their camper for their year. Starting talking loudly and telling them their traires were dirty and should clean them, also stated that the utility trailer could not be on site, but when walking campground I noticed several utility trailers on sites.

The manager was very disrespectful and had no reason to brow bush these elderly people.

Will be looking at other campgrounds in area to set up at.

Travel to and from Robin Hill Campground

Route 78 near by which is good but roadways and entrance to campground not great for large rigs such as class A motor homes and large trailers with dual wheel pick-up trucks. Campground very hilly and travel with-in campground with large rig, word to the wise travel slow and be sure on your turns and backing into sites.

Sites are not all very large, actually tight with all the fancy push-outs from all directions today. Exiting campground with the rig also requires carefull attention, roadway to make a left turn not so great.

Based on my stay, I would say its good for an over nighter at best and then move on.

Robin Hill's Resort/Campground Kills Animals

Just this past weekend we spent at a camp ground called Robin Hill in Lenhartsvill PA. The campground is beautiful and the kids love to fish.

On Saturday late afternoon there was a commotion by the creek.

A woman and her kids found a snapping turtle. Immediately, two men came down with sticks and shovels, poking this poor turtle who did no harm. At first they said they do this all the time and relocate them. But as they kept poking this poor turtle you can tell it would be no long before he would be killed.

We rushed to the office to complain about these two men and the office said they do it all the time and confirmed that the turtle would be killed because it may go up into the pond and eat the fish. The turtle they eventually go out of it's hiding place was huge. It took both men to use their shovels to pick it up and prior to that one of the men ran to get a bigger bucket. It had to be easily over 20 years old.

While they were poking at it they kid with the woman who found it saying "turtle soup". We were so upset about this that i'm writing in every web site i can find and maybe someone will see this and go further with stopping them. Later the Office Manager came to us acting like she had no idea what happen or who those men where she even asked what direction they went in. Then to find out she lied and i confronted her about it that the two men do indeed work there and that they kill these turles all the time.

We had a wonderful weekend til this happened and we are still very upset. A little girl with us was too very upset and kept asking her mother why someone would do such a thing and she replied " i don't know".
