I purchased a sofa and Robb and Stucky and they switched the sofa for a floor model, with out telling me that I was not going to get a new sofa from the manufacturer.

Thank You for asking I have called the corporate office and also the designer and have not received any responses. As of yet I need to figured out my next step. Thank You for your help in this matter Julia Sanchez

Dear Mr. Chien I write to you as a loyal customer. I have been purchasing from Robb & Stucky since I was living in Boca Raton, FL.

I have made numerous purchases of furniture ie. An American Leather sofa, four bar stools, a tulip marble top table and other items at your Sarasota Store.
On December 1st, 2021, I purchased a sofa from your Sarasota store. While there we used Ms. Jentry as the sales person, (bill number 03104**** the price including sales tax and delivery was $2,780.53 plus $214.00making the total for the purchase at $2,994.53.) The sofa was delivered on December 21, 2021.

I have called Ms. Jentry the sales person complaining about the condition of the sofa and the cushions. I told her that I had developed an allergic reaction from a substance (chemical cleaner) in the cushions, in addition I developed a pinched nerve.
I have learned through different sources in your company that the sofa I purchased was at one point a floor sample at your Coral Gabels Store and prior to it being closed. That sofa was transferred to your warehouse.

This sofa was used as a floor sample for a year and half and then stored at your warehouse for approximately a month before I purchased it. I learned that after the purchase the sofa was given a LUX cleaning before being delivered to my residence on December 21, 2021.
I have called on numerous occasions to make my concerns about the sofa to your VP of Sales Mr. Evans. I left a messaged each time I called, I received one call from Mr.

Evans but I was not home. I returned his call but have not received any other calls from him.
I brought the cushion back to your Sarasota Store and presented my concerns to the assistance store manager. I requested that the cushion be examined by the Century Technician. I left the cushions with the assistant store manager.
I was later called by Ms.

Jentry, she said that she had good news and bad news. She said that the good news was that the cushions were good. She then said that the bad news was that the technician could not find anything wrong with the cushions. I am concerned
that I was not asked or invited to meet with the technician to explain what my concerns about the cushions were.
My concern is that when I purchased the sofa I did not agree or contracted to buy a floor sample, especially one that I have never seen before or know the history of.

Had I agreed to the purchase of the sofa I would have had to agree to all its faults and blemishes. I would have to accept the sofa as is. I was denied the choices to accept the sofa as is, or opt out of the purchase. It seems to me that this was a classical bait and switch.

Chien we were given a raw deal at your Sarasota store. We purchase a sofa that we thought would meet our needs. But what we got was a sofa that was siting out on a show room floor for lord knows how long and then in a wear house collecting dust and dirt.

The cleaning process performed with chemicals which have caused me an allergic reaction. We would like a new sofa.

Give Your Business to Someone Who Appreciates It

Purchased 3 items of their BDI office furniture line several weeks ago. Decided to add 2 more items. We stopped by at 4:45 PM yesterday to order them (they close at 5 PM). Cheryl greeted us as we walked in, being kind here, as she immediately informed us they close at 5 PM (knew that) and she suggested it would be better if we came back another day. We asked if someone could help us buy now. She said Robb &;;;;;;;;; Stuckey did not sell office furniture and there was no one who was available to assist us. We informed her we'd already purchased 3 items of their BDI office line and wanted to add 2 more pieces. She was unmoved! Okay, I understand it's the holiday season and everybody's busy. But why stay open to 5 PM if you are going to turn away people who walk in the door at 4:45 PM? Why lie to your customers about product line? Why be rude about our attempt to buy some furniture? We really thought that was why you were there. So we drove to Adams Interiors, open until 6 PM (arrived at 5:45 PM) and they were happy to sell us the 2 BDI pieces we wanted.
