2013 Chrysler 200 Review
We purchased a 2013 Chrysler 200 in October and had to get the sales manager to approve installation of new brakes all the way around. Also went back to discover business has been sold to priority toyota without any notice to us, so needless to say we purchased extended warranty that is now not valid! I'm not going to stop here, but I don't have enough room!

Bought a 2013 Jetta recently. The aux option on the radio has never worked.
I've taken it in twice. The first time they said to come back the following Monday. The second time they actually had the nerve to tell me to go to our local Volkswagon dealer. Ha!
I bought it from you guys!
On top of that, there were several marks on the drivers side fender that I was not made aware of prior to purchasing the car. Definitely will not use RK again.
There is a pattern here: Sale team sucks!
I think if more people knew about this site, others would be hundreds of posts . I have dealt with this company for years and have had nothing but problems with the sales staff continuously..why do I go back you ask?
Plain and simple the service dept...for one they don't have constant turn over like the sales staff..2.. John Burkett is great, firendly and handles all my needs and never even forgets my name. I wish I could buy a car from him! I will say my 4th vehicle purchase would have been my last if not for Tom Kline.
I am actually debating on a new vehicle now but I refuse to deal with OJ Schneider or his team of a++ holes. He is the rudest most ignorant man on earth. His entire staff warned me to stay.clear of him and I didn't listen when I had some absurd issues with a vehicle I purchased which I won't get into because I would be here all day. I would encourage Mr Kline to send a buyer in undercover and watch how they are treated in a situation where a problem needs to be addressed.
Mr. Kline you are a class act along with John Burkett in service but OJ schniedhole is and has cost you a many of future sales. I am not sure how I will address another purchase from RK at this time. It will be my 5th but I've been holding out until they finally can OJ schneidhole!
Thank you Tom Kline and John Burnett for all you do... now get rid of the cancer leading your sales and watch the profits sore!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
AFTER BUYING SEVERAL BRAND NEW CARS FROM RK TOYOTA, ALWAYS BEEN HAPPY WITH THE SERVICES AND ALL MANAGEMENT TEAM, BUT THIS TIME I GOT THE WORST FINANCING MANAGER (MARVIN THOMPSON) EVERY, HE'S A d***, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND AS LONG AS HE STAYS AT rk THAT WILL BE MY LAST VISIT EVER, AND I WILL BE SURE TO LET MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY KNOW THE SAME, MR. MARVIN YOU NEED CUSTOMER, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND, YOU NEED TO CRASH COURSE ON KNOWING WHO YOU SERVE.
when customers ask for help, and if you don't like to help, then leave your profession, do something you love, and not something that makes you miserable, and in return, you make everyone's live ***. if the owners of rk saw how you treat your customers, i'll be anything you won't have a job anymore.
Trade in for new auto
In march 2009 bought toyta yaris..i traded 2001 lincoln and still owe balance on lincoln. Rk will payoff balanced owed.
They had me signed to pay balance. They fixef up auto and sold it and made profit. I paid half and now garnishing my pay. Tje general finance manager was deternined to be ***.
They all are umcompassionate men. I was taken with their financing. How man
y other consumers they done that. Rk toyota got judgement to garnish my wages whivh has caused hardship.
The court system in hampton virginia are a joke.
I want other consumers to be aware. I dont want them to be sucker in with trade ins.
Hampton manager is a terrible person
Bought a car from RK in Hampton..got it home found parts missing...discrepancies on the car fax..including color and mileage...decided I didn't want to put my daughter I. This....general mgr on Schneider told me he didn't care I had bought 4 vehicles from there he once had a person buy 40 cars from him and he was not taking the car back...even threatened to tow my vehicle off his lot.
I was horrified and was very close to losing my cool. Tom Kline fixed the issue and apologized....he allowed me to switch the vehicles out and more over spoke to me lime a human....during this whole process all of Hamptons employees told me to not deal with Schneider that he was an arrogant hateful man whom everyone hated....I should have listened. I will not deal with Hampton rk again until he's gone.....
he will never know either due to my business and personal connections via much future business he truly lost that day going forward. An absolutely awful man.....thanks to tom Kline tho
Ok so i got what i want
well RK got my gap ins, for a price that i am happy with they wanted me to revise what i had said before that it was a misunderstanding well it wasn't i know what was said, wrong is wrong and right is right, we have bought 3 cars there since 2005 and i am sorry but not again, i know all sales people lie to ya thats how they make there money. but no one is gonna lie to me and think thats its ok i am still mad they were gonna wash the car and put gas in it but the weather got bad, well the only time i go back there is to have it serviced.

Lied to me
when i went to one of the employees and asked if they would pay for my gap ins, the guy told me he would split it i said ok so the his story changes and says that he told me he would give me a % of the profit, i know what he said, he called me a lier without saying it to my face, this was my 3rd car from rk never again, i will not refer anyone to them, they will never get another dime from me, i was empressed at first with the GM but after all was signed he acted like he didn't want to anything to do with us
RK Toyota Hampton VA jerking me around
Although we had issues with RK Toyota in Hampton Tom Cline stepped up as soon as he was aware of the problem. He worked diligently to correct the issues and I am satisfied now that we have all the paperwork settled and now have the car legally on the road where it belongs.
If you have any issues with RK Chevrolet, Scion, Toyota, I suggest you contact Tom directly at the Va Beach location and he WILL listen and take care of your issues. Thanks Tom!
Recently bought a car from RK toyota Scion in Hampton VA and since the 30 day temp registration is expired, they have gotten NOTHING done in the form of closing the deal with the PREVIOUS owner of the car that traded it in, apparently there is financing issues on HIS END and they cannot get the title from the previous lien holder in order to get my paperwork figured out.... my first payment is nearly due and I am going to see an attorney tomorrow to see what can be done to unravel this deal and also get the money back from the dealership that I already have in the car, am totally fed up at this point, by the way if you do business with them DEMAND FLOOR MATS AND A SPARE KEY.... cause we paid over 300 for a second key and thats dealer 'cost' and they toss the floor mats from the used cars out (or sell em on ebay or CL, apparently thats a big business anymore too) and you ask why these lightly used cars that you know had more factory add ons do not have them....
Sold me a lemon
I purchased a small suv from rk toyota 2 years ago. i liked the truck it was nice to look at but didn't know it had a lot of major problems.
i was young and it was my first time buying from a dealership and the salesman was aware of that. so i test drove it and it had a knocking sound in the engine so we discusssed thatand it was verbally agreed to be fixed. me not knowing to get it in writing i went along with it. it also had really bad motor mounts so bad that another car repair place told me not to drive the car over the speed of 45 for risk of losing the motor.
it had a bad u joint and rear end was done for. when i put my car in reverse it dropped down so low onto the wheel well that it looked like i had hydrolics. then when i went back to rk the salesman told me he didn't know a rear end could go bad. but what was i to do i had already drove the car off the lot.
on top of all that it was a 99 it had 200k miles on it and i was paying $390 on it every month and the alternater broke on the car twice in 2 months the fisrt time they fixed the alternater but 2 weeks later it went out again leaving me and my 1 year old son stuck in the pouring rain trying to get home. the second time it broke they told me i had to pay 400 dollars to get it fixed. so in a month i would have given them $790 for a truck that wasn't worth it. so they never fixed it and i was stuck with a car i couldn't drive but still had to make payments on.
o i got fed up and voluntarily repoed the car. i wasn't aware that i need to take the plates off and they waited til a day after i was to show proof of insurance to turn in my plates which caused my liscense to be suspended. so i am now having to pay the $500 uninsured motors fee put a sr-22 on my liscense, plus insurance. then when i tryed to get a document saying when they came and got the car they told me i had to pay them $1200 just to get a piece of paper.
so in a nut shell it was the worst experience and has caused me a lot of headache and problems and still trying 2 years later to get my liscense right. they are liars and cheats and only want to make a sell not have valued customers.
Can't Do an Oil Change
After multiple attempts to have them stop over filling my 4Runner during an oil change, I gave up. I contacted Toyota and wouldn't do anything..
The capacity clearly states 5.5 qts. but they kept putting in 7 qts. This happened EVERY time. Incredible they can't even do a proper oil change.
After the 7th time. I gave up. My dipstick is still stained where they overfilled it. Evidently, they continued to do so so they can charge more money.
Toyotas response was unreal, also.
They flatly didn't give a ***. I recommend staying awat from RK Toyota.
Berated me and accused me of lying
Personnel at RK Toyota had me in vehicle that we were very interested in. We were referred by a business associate of my spouse. They were very pleasant initially. After narrowing the decision down to two cars Rk told me to overnight test drive it. We are business owners and called the original salesperson after the overnight in the '10 Camry LE and wanted to know how much it would cost to add certain amenities to it. After listing the amenities he mentioned we would come out cheaper buying the XLE. I came in after work that day 11-3 and they were closing. He put me in the XLE with rider plates. I preface by saying in my life I never did an overnight test drive and it insurance details were never explained to me by any of RK personnel.
We decide to go with the XLE. Saturday morn I did an internet search to ensure the buyer's invoice presented was a fair market price (looking for a deal). The search resulted in 3 different dealership trying to compete with the MSRP presented by RK. To be fair to RK I called the dealership with the most competitive offer and RK; I asked them both to fax the best offer. RK faxed 30k and the other organization couldn't beat that. My wife and I were going to buy from RK. I get 5 calls on my cell phone on 11-7 from RK on our busiest day at the store. One of the messages I saved where the RK salesperson accused me of driving the vehicle to other car lots (was at my store all day). He left a very distasteful, nasty message where he called me a liar! I was upset. These accusations were made without having any conversation with me by a gentleman that I never met in the week of dealing and interacting with RK. His manager called me (while I was with a customer) and berated me and also said I was playing games and lying. He wouldn't really let me speak. I left my store after closing and called the District Manager and asked him politely if we might meet. He agreed.
When I got to his office I played the message left by his employee. He agreed the employee was out of line and begins to tell me he was under a lot of stress. He told me he was brought in to "clean up the dealership". We came to an understanding that evening. I received apologies from him and his employee who left the message. My wife and I decided to continue with the deal. He put me in another dealer plate. We decided to finalize everything on Monday. We communicated during the week via email and text about funding the purchase. Thursday this area had a severe tropical storm. I went to work. I had no problems with the morning commute. We actually had a busy day at the store. I did close about 30 minutes early because flood warnings were in effect. The commute home was very smooth. I had to make one detour away from a flooded area. As I approached my neighborhood (about a block away) there were high waters. I trailed a truck and a car. They made it, but I stalled. Two neighbors helped me push the car into the yard. The next morning it didn't start. I called the district manager in question. He mentioned I should contact our insurance company. I told him the vehicle had not been added yet. He mentioned we would have the service department at RK look at it and then move forward. AAA towed me in and I called him as I was in route.
As service was looking at the vehicle to determine the problem I spoke with him several times (he did not arrive at work yet). During the last conversation I mentioned a concern about the insurance. From that point on he let me have it. Even after the understanding on 11-7 he again called me a liar, said I wasn't a Christian, threaten to sue me for the $10,000 dealer deductible and it went on and on. At a point I even put him speaker phone and his staff heard everything he was saying. He would not allow me to speak at all. I was very upset. One of his co-workers mentioned he heard most of what went on apologized for the manger's actions and words. He gave me a ride to work. We are not buying the vehicle and will never do business with RK. We are reporting this to Toyota Corporate.

WOW RECENTLY BOUGHT A CAR FROM THERE THE TREATMENT I RECIEVED WAS UNBELIEVABLE SO MUCH I CONTACTED THE HEAD OF OPERATIONS FOR THE HAMPTON STORE IN VA BEACH WELL LONG STORY SHORT THE FINACE MANAGER MESSED UP THE LOAN HAD TO DO IT OVER SO MANY TIMES MY SIS CO SIGNED FOR ME WE WERE BEING HARASSED BY BANK OF AMERICA IN REGARDS TO THE LOAN HE SCREWED UP CLAINMG THAT RK TOYOTA NEVER PAYED OFF THE LOAN AND THE CAR PAYMNET WAS VERY BEHING TRIED TO CONTACT THE FINACE MANAGER AT RK HE WAS NEVER THERE LEFT NUMEROUS MESSAGES THEN HE FINALLY RETURNS THE CALLS AND WE HAVE A MEETING HE ASSURES US HE PAYED BANK OF AMERICA EVEN TALKS TO A BOA REP HE LIED HE NEVER DID NOT ONLY THAT WHEN I KEPT CALLING INQUIRING ABOUT ME AND MY SIS CREIT HE ACTED AS IF I WAS BOTHERING HIM WHEN HE SCREWED UP THEN EVEN GOES TO CURSE AT ME AND SAY "I AM TIRED OF THE WHOLE *** THING *** BRING THE CARE BCK" WHAT I WAS BLOWN ALL I GOT FOR THE DISRESPECT WAS 3 TIRES THAT THEY KNEW WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED WOW

Had the same experience with this guy, and with Hank Simons, total *** holes, actually every person i have dealt with at RK was rude and unprofessional, i am really unhappy with how i was treated, i am making it my purpose to make sure i review them on every rip off report and consumer complaints site i can find, i dont want anyone else to have to deal with these people with out knowing the full facts.
