Statutory Compensation for Delayed Flight.
On the above date my and wife and I arrived at Pisa Airport around 0830 for our flight to Manchester due to depart at 1020. We were informed by Adrian, our tour manager, that our plane hadnt left Manchester due to a technical issue.
It finally arrived several hours later and then was further delayed due other issues, reported as the failure of equipment required to move the plane, and no time slots etc, etc, totaling in approx 7+ hours delay. This delay resulted in further consequential cost, food on the plane to the cost of £17.48 and extended car parking costs at Manchester Airport of £58.
