Dealer service department not trustworthy

I have a 2018 Buick Envision Preferred, it has 31,000 miles, the TEHCM went. My understanding is, its a result of the transmission wave plate recall, nevertheless it went. Buick in St. Augustine, FL couldnt find the problem, Ritchie Buick in Daytona, FL. did, they said replace transmission, but corporate denied and advised rebuild. Meanwhile; this is the only vehicle; on a recorded call they advised they would cover a rental. One month later when they finished the car, they advise they never said they would cover a rental, but would see what they could do. They also said that I should call corporate because they were the ones making things difficult. No phone call, text or note, just a check arrived $322 to cover $1488 in rentals. I will be replacing my Buick with anything but a GMC product. Despicable!!
