I have been paying for 5 MB broadband and have never seen more that 1.9 MB. Frequent system failures, and very poor service at call center. Out of fairness the service techs are all above average in service. i think it is time that they do a class action lawsuit. Rise Broadband really sux! I hope more internet options become available to rural Texas and will gladly change service when that happens. What adds insult to injury is when you complain...

Buyer Beware on Rise Broadband / Jab / formerly Digis! I started with Ready Tech years ago, always had flat fee of $39/month. After it went to Digis and Rise service because ridiculous and customer service is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I regular received far less than half of speed we should have been receiving close to. On 5mb plan was not even able to watch Netflix without constant buffering with actual speed less than...

If you want fasting unreliable internet rise broadband is for you,,,,,they have problems that lasts for weeks,,,,horrible horrible horrible. They will answer the phone and say they will send a technician and then you get cut off. It's like their phones are hooked to their internet. They should give everyone two free months of service , if they ever get service again, then again it would probably not work. I i I i I i I i I i I i I i I i I i I i...

I used to love the fact that they had live chats to help me with anything I needed but now they have a new policy or something and the live chats are basically useless because they can't change anything through the chats even if you give them every piece of personal detail.

Rise Broadband Internet Service Review

This place sucks. They said they fixed our internet but they actually made it worse. Its pretty bad when your phone data with 4 people on it at the same time, is better than the *** internet provider.

Absolute worst service ever, They lied to me about the speed i would recieve. i am constantly fighting with buffering and disconnects since the first day I signed up with them. They told me to be patient because they were using a new tower, 4 months later i cant even get my phone my laptop or my TV to connect. its been a horrible, frustrating experience im going to be sure to tell everyone under no circumstance should they go with rise broadband.

Maybe a couple hours a day of connection at best. Can't watch videos. Never have the ability to play a game. Ones that use kilobytes of data.... Constant outages. As in I can type an email that is the most use I get out of a 60 dollar a month service from rise. no answers or fixes. Awful dish installation half installed. when asked to fix it ignored. Whether its weather, or the fact that they lie and say high speeds but always tell you the...

While I purchased email service from Texas-based Internet America and its predecessor firms, I had good, but imperfect service since 1995. A few months back, Rise Broadband acquired Internet America's email customers. Now with Rise Broadband, I pay more, but get less reliable service. The email service was down yesterday and was restored after some calls. Email is down again today, with no estimated time to repair. :-( The representatives are...

Terrible ISP, even worse than comcast. Slow and inconsistent speeds, any data cap sucks let alone a measly 250 gb, spotty service and signal. Had multiple instances of getting less than 1mb download speed even though we pay for 15. Reported them to the FCC and it fixed it the first time, now its happening a second time because of a weather caused issue on their end - its been about a week now and we can't stream, play games or download ANYTHING...

Anonymous They can't even pay their bills. They are going belly up.

I've have digis/rise for three years, although not the best internet speed, it was 100% better month to month before i signed a 2 year contract. I was paying about $57 a month when i was month to month 12mbps with 250,000 in data downloading. I called one day after receiving a message stating i was going to exceed my 250K allotment for that month, to ask if i could get more. The salesman stated i could get 350K but i could only get that under a...

I didn't like
  • Service was not what was advertized
  • Data overages
  • Super slow internet

Just like the rest of the reviews, these f#cking soulless people pride themselves in making other people's lives difficult. Today alone, I spent 7 hours on the phone to have the service KeyStroked back on 2 minutes prior to their call center closing. I have filed a complaint with the State Attorney General. I will gladly donate more time towards the state's efforts. Im sure that they are screwing others in a similar fashion, and chuckling all...

Companies similar to Rise Broadband

I have been a Digis/Rise customer for five years, and I believe I should NOT be penalized with a punitive fine for terminating. I paid $70 plus per month for a meager amount of megabytes, and although it is apparently corporate policy to lock a customer in for an additional two years for a simple upgrade, that wasn't entirely clear to me, and I disregarded it since I had already completed my two years and two additional years already. This...
