GPS watch screen froze after charging, setting time and tide automatically, selected dst, screen froze. tried 714-422-****, voice said invalid number.
Tried [i think] 714-422-****. nothing. tried to chat, nothing. real disappointing.
Tried to charge for the 2 hours as suggested, Nothing. Waited the 2 days, watch was dead, recharged, time set dst selected, froze again.
Nothing!!! 2 phone numbers neither worked.
Tried to chat; did not work. No help online. $250.00 watch with no service help!!!
I really liked the GPS 2 and am disappointed with no help!!!

I would put 0 stars if I could. This is just a nightmare; the worst customer service ever!!! Oh my God, I can't believe what I just experienced. I am the one who never, never, ever writes reviews in my life, no matter good or bad, but this one, I am furious; I am just speechless!!!
So I've placed an order and noticed that, for some reason, there was an apt missing in my address. I called them; no answer. I tried to chat and got a message that someone would get back to me, but nobody did. The next day, I chatted again and what a surprise; somebody replied. I explained my situation: I needed to add the apt in my shipping address. They asked all the questions, like the name on the address, order number, and the address itself, but for some reason, they wanted my ID!!! What in the world? Why do I have to send them a photo of my ID??? It doesn't make any sense at all! Like, is it even legal that they want my ID?! Again, this is online shopping; if it was in the shop, I would have no problem showing my ID, I get it, but when it's an online purchase and I am providing all the information needed, like the order number, address, and my full name, why the heck are you asking for my ID?
They say they're trying to protect their customers from fraud! From what fraud? Am I asking for somebody's credit card?? I get it if I wasn't giving them my name or address or order number, but I was giving them everything. Then what fraud are you talking about?? I told them that I'm not giving them my ID and I wanted to talk to the manager, to which she said she is the manager. I'm explaining that, hey, I get it if I was trying to change the whole address, but I'm not; it is the same address; it's just the apt number that is missing. You just need to add that number and you definitely don't need my ID picture for that. But she didn't even apologize or try to resolve this issue some other way; no, she kept saying she needs my ID!! WTF?!! And this is my first order on Rip Curl ever! I am so pissed; I wish I had read reviews before I placed my order. So people, just be aware.

Ripcurl was once a great company with raving surfers like myself about the customer service and their wetsuits. It appears it is no longer privately owned and their customer service has evaporated.
I contact them as there is an obvious defect with there Flashbomb wetsuits. I contacted them because the last two suits I bought, the aquaband tape began to crack and peel off on all the seams. I have worn the suits maybe 3 to 4 times in the winter because I live in Florida and rarely do I need more than a spring suit. The suits remain in my air conditioned closet the rest of the year.
I was aware they would not honor the warranty because I was advised of that when it happened to my older suit. The new suit is less then two years old. I asked if they would repair it and charge me. They said no, they dont repair them.
I then asked if they could sell me the tape. Same response, we dont sell the tape. Im sure this is a defect in the manufacturing which they obviously do not choose to correct or stand behind. Definetly not the company they use to be.
The old Ripcurl would have worked to satisfy their customers.
Dont think I asked for anything unreasonable. Stay away!!
Preferred solution: WetSuit repaired or replaced with the defect cured

I guess that’s why I guess they have a 2 out of 5 star rating. I think they have become too big to care about those that were their loyal customers. My advice?
Stay away. They do not stand behind their wetsuits when they have an obvious defect.

I would like to write a good review
It took only two days and of wich I was 8 hours of nearby the store to get the purchase of the wrong lengths of surfboard resolved and I spoke with the manager and the supervisor who spoke to the boss Lady who was very reasonable and fixed the issue relatively promptly

I have crps disease and the worst rep of the Florida area has disrespected the pain and suffering and caused mental anguish when I was crossed with pneumonia and crippled with talking and walking and he won't quit causing the sickest person doesmt matter who it is mental anguish and abuse and won't stop get a grip on this person *** before I blast him
