UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, MEAN IT WHEN THEY SAY NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THEY BREAK!! On 2/3/16 on went to Ringo’s for a state inspection and left with a broken windshield wiper pump.

Instead of telling me about it, they let me pay for the inspection and walk out to my vehicle with WATER POURING OUT OF THE ENGINE. I asked the owner why there was water coming from my engine and he told me HE DIDN’T KNOW. So, he pulled the hood up and acted like I was wasting his time and found it was the windshield wiper pump. I told him it was his responsibility because it wasn’t broken BEFORE I got there, he said it was not and he refused to pay for it.

Then we walked into the bay and the young man that inspected my car said that, yes, when he turned on the back windshield wiper, the pump broke and water spilled.

Ringo still refused to pay for the part. Ringo rudely told me that this wasn’t their fault and if I bought the part, he would replace it.

Like I would bring a vehicle back there.

Ringo Tire and Automotive

My wife and I went to Ringo Tire and Automotive in Huntsville, Texas for an inspection sticker. As we were waiting, a gentleman was told that his vehicle did not pass inspection due to a torn wiper blade and that he would have to purchase a new set before a sticker could be issued.

He was required by state law to pay the 14.50 regardless of pass or fail. He asked if he could go get a set somewhere else and come back, at which time the lady behind the counter told him he would have to pay the 14.50 again. I walked up to the counter and asked why he had to pay twice, as he has a 15 day grace period to fix the problem component and come back at no additional charge. The lady looked at me like she just got gut kicked and verified that there would be no additional charge if the vehicle was brought back within 15 days.

My wife and I collected our vehicle keys and insurance card and went elsewhere, as did the guy in front of us.

Avoid these scam artists, they do shoddy work and charge an insane amount of money for their so called "service".
