Absolutely notScam company.

Original review Aug 29, 2024
I signed a contract with Joseph Boseli from Ridgemont valley contracting and paid a deposit in advance for buying the material to renovate my basement suit.
$15000 was paid to him on May 27, 2024. He cashed out the cheque on the same day.
Since then he visited my property two times. One time with a so called drafting guy and second day to mark the floor according to the layout.
It has been over 90 days since the payment was made, but Joseph did not even apply for city permit according to the contract or bought any materials.
He stopped receiving my phone calls and did not bother to call me back.
He is a fraud and all google reviews are probably paid to write by his friends.
Do not pay any advance money, do not sign any contract.

Prepaid Contractor Fraud

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Took thousands in advance; no work began, delays; breach claims, refunds refused, legal threats, no Alberta license.

Beware of Ridgemont Valley Contracting and Joseph Boseli -

My experience with Ridgemont Valley Contracting, owned by Joseph Boseli, has been nothing short of a nightmare. They initially agreed to work within my budget, signed a seemingly legitimate contract, and took thousands of dollars in advance.

However, no actual work ever began. Instead, they offered empty promises and numerous excuses for delays.

When I tried to address the lack of progress and discuss cancellation, they falsely claimed I was breaching the contract and refused to refund any of the deposit. They even threatened legal action against me, all while operating without a prepaid contractor license for Alberta, which means they are illegally taking deposits for work they never intend to start.

If youre considering hiring Ridgemont Valley Contracting, I strongly advise against it. They will come to your budget and promised to complete your desired completion date. They will exploit your budget constraints to secure a deposit and then leave you with nothing but unfulfilled promises.

If you need more information, proofs or wish to avoid this scam, please feel free to contact me before making any decisions.

I have more than enough proofs.

This companys practices are fraudulent and deceitful. Protect yourself and avoid Ridgemont Valley Contracting at all costs.

Loss:

User's recommendation: Do not go with company else sorry for your loss
