Keeping my money after very bad transmission repair

AI Highlights
  • - Paid $3,000 cash for transmission; pan fell off.
  • - Two shops say torque converter is the issue.
  • - Plans to sue for $3,000 refund and damages.

We'll keep this short since you have $3,000.00 cash of mine and I still have a bad transmission. After bringing the truck back to you the first time when the transmission pan essentially fell off when your guys pulled my truck into your bay to replace the gasket that the transmission shop you Sub'd out to didn't do a correct job, you replaced the gasket and sent me on my way.

Shortly thereafter, the torque converter started shuddering ( the very one you said you replaced). I called you to let you know. You said it wasn't the torque converter. In short, I have taken the truck to two separate shops, both have said it is the torque converter.

Ricky, since you blocked my number and don't care to accept my calls, get ready, I'm suing you and the transmission shop that you wont disclose the name of (motion for discovery).

You will pay for the refund of $3,000.00 and damages. Plus widely publicized.

Loss:
$3000
Pros:
  • Great on work done in house
Cons:
  • Will not disclose who does the transmission work
  • Sub out the transmission work to an unskilled company

Preferred solution: Full refund

User's recommendation: Do NOT Have transmission work work done there.
