What a COMPLETE waste of time- HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE

I will try to sum this up quickly so as I am not wasting any more of my time with this awful dealership! I had been looking on-line at the dealership for a specific car.

Used the online/text chat for several days with a specific person. I was emailed several cars and I noticed that the cars were at a dealership in NC. I asked about that since we are in GA and in writing was told that the car had been transferred to GA and was currently on the Duluth, GA lot. I also asked if there were other colors of the specific car that we were looking for in case we didn't like the color of the first one.

Again I was told in writing that they had 2 other colors available as well. "Come in and take a look", so We drove over to dealership and when I asked for the person I had been communicating with I was told that she isn't a sales person but works upstairs "customer relations"...okay fine so a couple of sales guys come over and I show him the texts and which cars I wanted to see. WELL... not only was the Blue car that had been "transferred from NC" NOT on the lot- they had neither of the other cars either.

ARE YOU FOR REAL?? I asked how this person could lie to me and another sales guy says he would have a talk with her- YEAH RIGHT!

All a huge game- tried to get me to buy the car in NC sight unseen- NO THANKS - WHAT A JOKE- I do not appreciate being lied to and wasting my time. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!!!

I'll start off saying Innocent me salesperson was fantastic very knowledgeable and great person made me and my wife very comfortable he deserves 5 stars buuuut that finance department cause this one star. First it took them hours and I mean hours to see us.

Then when we see the finance manager name Renaldo he come off as a smug guy he tells us $1500 down cool we were like we don't have it but that's fine we will try again when we have the $1500 but no renaldo says can you put $500 down and the rest in about 60 days I said sure we can do that he says we just need a check to put a hold on the account. Problem is we didn't have any checks. So he says go to chase open a account and you get the car. Next day open a checking account and came back.

Met with Renaldo again and he says " O the checks must start with 100" my wife says you didn't say that he says with a smug attitude " I said it I always say it" I look kinda funny because I know he didn't say that either but we went to a local chase and got some more checks came back and sat in the lobby for almost 5 hours before we saw Renaldo again. Innocent checked on us but no one explain what's wrong offer no water ask how we were doing or anything. Finally I get fed up and threaten to leave with no deal before Innocent had us speak to another finance manager. I can't even tell you her name because she never told us and act like we were a disease or something and didn't want us in there.

Then she ask what are we doing and we explain about the check. She scan the check and says no good you can't use the check. So we like ok what we do she shrugs her shoulder and look at us like we crazy. Then we were maybe we can do $500 down from Renaldo.

We said ok but not till tomorrow when we get paid cool he lets us get the car with no tag but hand us paper in case we get pulled over. We call the next day trying to get our tag and see if they going take the $500 no answer anything finally they tell my wife that we can pick up the tag I drive up there after work and set another 3-4 hours just waiting on a tag. Then the finance manager who still has not tell me her name hands me a tag I say what about the $500 she says we will take it out and leaves I'm still confused but left alone fast forward 3 days later on Memorial Day Renaldo begins blowing up my wife phone at work. Now Renaldo knows we work at a call center and it's kinda hard for us to get the phone.

My wife calls back and he says they couldn't pull up her credit report and that she needs to call equifax to get a credit report. My wife calls equifax and tells them that but of coarse it's close because it's Memorial Day!!! So my wife tells Renaldo this and he say "o well just keep calling them someone will answer" . I tell my wife she just needs to focus on work and we will call them tomorrow.

Two days later after we got the equifax situation straight out Renaldo begins blowing up my wife phone again at work yelling at her and demanding her to pay the $500. My wife calls me crying telling me to call Renaldo. I call he begins coming at me with an attitude so I just said F it I'm bring the car back.

But after cooler heads prevail I paid the $500 it was never a problem with the $500 I just don't like how he is yelling and harassing my wife about it. We end up getting the car it's very nice but we feel sick that we got the call from rick Hendricks and we will never ever ever ever step foot i there again ****update***** now Rick Hendricks took the car back lied to me and said I would get my down payment back and then week later Renaldo called and said they would not give me my money back so I don't have car and I'm out of my down payment money do not go to this place they are scammers liars and thieves

Hendrick Chevelote, Duluth, GA Autoguard Inc. GAP Insurance Refund!

Once they sell you that car with all the bells and whistles they have nothing else to do with you! I purchased this insurance them!

I have been trying to get my GAP refund check from these people August now! Today they tell me I have to contact the Finance Company. Did that, they referred to me to GAP Insurance company Auto Motive Warranty which they told me they have to have the cancelation papers directly from the dealership! Why is it that when you need your dealership this is the run around you get!

But they will do just about anything to sell you that car and the GAP insurance! Rick Hendrick lead me to believe since July 31st they were taking care of this issue!

Lots of e-mails, phone call, however, Today it's a different story! Don't believe anything they tell you!

I'd like to thank the leadership team at Hendrick Automotive Group. Within 8 hours of posting this information concerning my negative experience, I was contacted by an executive from Charlotte along with a local Sales Manager.

I can say this team came together and honored the posting. I purchased a new vehicle from this incredible team. Thanks for restoring my confidence. It is apparent this negative experience is the exception rather than the rule in dealing with Rick Hendrick.

The positive experience with the local Sales group and Hendrick leadership has completely shifted my opinion. GREAT JOB Rick Hendrick Leaderhip!!!!

Good Morning, I wanted to provide some feedback on an extremely negative experience I had with a Hendrick dealership. (noted above).

I received pre-approval from my banking institution and selected a vehicle at the dealership. Prior to making the drive to the dealership I contacted the dealership to validate availability and pricing. The sales member I spoke to confirmed the pricing ($17.995) which matched my institution. When i arrived I provided the paperwork inclusive of pricing and began the process of purchasing the vehicle.

The local sales team first noted that my banking institution did not populate the correct pricing. I noted to the team (which they validated via call logs) that i had spoke to someone prior to arrival that had confirmed this pricing. They still refused to honor the price. Secondly, the sales team make note they were not sure where that number was seen as it was not the price of the vehicle.

I kindly noted that the vehicle (with VIN) is listed on the site Hendrick WEBSITE as $17.955. They still refused to honor that price. I am extremely disappointed with the reluctance to honor advertised prices. I perceive this as extremely poor business practice to lure potential buyers to the dealership.

My family and i purchase vehicles regularly (every 4 years or so), i can truly say this is the first car buying experience I have ever left angry. Shame on this dealership for not honoring their pricing. I truly perceive this to be bad business practice in terms of ethical approach to selling cars. Appears to be a luring method.

Had a warranty, it was cancelled w/o my knowledge

Have tried about 100 times to get someone on the phone for answers. My daughter is a claims adjuster so she read my sale papers and she cant believe what they have done to me.

I paid $1,400 for a mechanical service contract, Im sure you know all that it covers. My timing belt broke which caused other problems. My sales agent David Simon wont talk to me at all, Vlade the finance mgr wont answer my calls either. They mailed me certified letters which were returned undeliverable, NO ONE CALLED ME, they know I lived RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET, they cancelled my service contract and send the $1,400 to Prestige Finance instead of me so I had no idea I had no service contract.

I need my car repaired and I cant get ANYONE to talk to me and the service dept is the most rude people I have ever met. They are insisting I send them $1,500 before they will do ANYTHING to the Kia Soul 2011. I am in the process of finding a lawyer to handle this situation. I really just want my car fixed, I was only supposed to pay a $100 deductible, but they made me pay $130 service charge to look at it and tell me Yep its got problems!

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER USED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

If I dont hear from someone in your office by tomorrow, I am pursuing legal help. You are not going to treat me like this, I dont have the money to get another car HELP!!

Happy to report that this problem has been fixed, I now have a new car from Rick Hendrick Chevrolet, I couldn't be happier. When I finally did get the general manager Toffy on the phone, he patiently listened to my story and by 8:00 AM the next morning, the problem was resolved and I was able to purchase a new car. The staff could not have been nicer to me

My husband and I went to Rick Hendricks Chevrolet in Duluth our sales person name was Buddy Nelson. He was awesome, he listened to what I wanted and he delivered just that.

No pressure, he made our car buying experience easy as 123. If your looking for a car I encourage you to go to Rick Hendricks in duluth and ask for Buddy.

Rick Hendrick Chevrolet - 2014 Chevy Spark Review

My daughter bought a 2014 Chevy Spark from the Duluth Store, and it has been in the shop more than she's had. The management team has been NO help in resolving this issue.

My next recourse is to obtain a lawyer. I'm very disappointed in this company, and I'll NEVER recommend Rick Hendrick!!

Went to rick hendricks duluth. Yes they did get me into a new car,i fault myself jumping gun, for it.

Sales rep,gave me bad service,at visit. Receptionist, lied told me ,sales rep,was on vacation, id just left.

Poor Customer service

I have been trying to contact Rick Hendrick Chevrolet of Duluth for two weeks. I have called several times to try and speak with the finance manager, Franchaily.

I have also spoken to Vald who has stated that he would call me back and No return calls. I purchased a car on March 31, 2016 and they are supposed to send a payoff amount for my other car. I have been getting the runaround. They called me everyday when wanting me to buy a car but now, I can't get them to call because no money in it for them.

It does not make sense to take this long. It is a shame I will have to take a day off work to drive an hour and a half to try and speak with someone. This is very poor customer service and I will never purchase another car from this place.

Someone could at least call me back to give me the status.

I got a camaro from, them my fault rushing into, contract, I drove up, sales rep, push me off to abother guy, telling me car is not hardly worth nothing, I had for 5 months, yes I did put 10.000 miles on highway, going to Virginia, receptionist and staff, lied told me sales rep, was on vacation, didn't remember I'd just left,. Bad business.

Got a truck from rick hendrick drove it for two days FedEx drop off a package tell us not to drive the car. There is a recall on it.

So they sold us a truck knowing that it had a recall. First American car I bought will be the last.

Service personnel/mgr knowingly sent me back into unsafe car!!!

took car in for service at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet in Duluth, Ga, had engine light on (2012/50K), man said "car all good only need air filter, oil change" told him - great - fix it - paid $85 for air filter/oil, gave me back a now-broken key, and asked "how long your engine light been on?" told him 2-3 wks. He answers "we can look at that for $150".

I ask "you didn't check it?" "we can for $150". I asked him "is it safe? is this a safety issue?" "I don't know" he tells me.

I asked for him to have a manager call me. They never did so three days later, I went to AutoZone,

where, for FREE, and in less than 2 minutes, told me the code, and

that the car has a safety problem.
