Horrible Salads
Have eaten from Richards for 50 years, but not only on this order did they leave out my 2 orders of garlic bread called for that) but had not seen the Italian Salad I had received. I was appalled. This restaurant USED to have a salad that was NOT 3/4 iceberg, with only a few pieces of wilted, slimy romaine lettuce. Salad was full of onions, warm ones, the kind they use on steak sandwiches, they used to use red onions, as is to be expected in an Italian salad. All lettuce was wet, warm and nasty., slimy in fact. It looked like a salad from a bag at grocery store that would be marked down or thrown away. It was horrible. Then chicken was4 small, lukewarm strips and there was no cheese on top. Only thing there was a lot of? Pepperoni, enough for a medium pizza, why? For the life of me, I do not know.unless you wish to just hide the nasty salad underneath? I am calling our Health Dept. also about the lettuce. This cannot be left this way. Whomever is running what used to be a great restaurant now with both cheap and substandard quality food, should be fired or replaced. This is just sad, very sad. They have lost my business completely now, I already stopped buying their Famous steak sandwich, whomever is running things, has ruined it also. But that is a whole other, long story ending with them going cheap on all their ingredients and it clearly shows. Shamethis for $10! User's recommendation: Do not eat here
