Still Learning with Elite Legacy Education
I went to the free information night in February of this year, signed up for the 3 day course on Real Estate and Stocks, which was a fee of $500 and included a Lenovo tablet in the bag of literature and manuals about the classes. I read all the information prior to the first class in May, and again for the second class in June.
I went to all three days for both classes and learned a ton of information. I was intrigued and signed up for the Stock program, as I am currently doing some real estate investing and can apply what was learned on my own. I did sign up for the $25,000 stock package and am now in my second class. My scheduler calls me regularly to make sure I have the four classes I paid for - which I can take twice each within one year to make sure I have all the information I need to invest in stocks.
During the Master Trader class I submitted the homework on finding stock options and setting up trades. I have a stock account and am practicing with paper trading first. My class in Options just started, and I am learning so much! I know this will work for me, because I am committed to making it work.
This is not like college classes where you show up when you want and let someone else determine what grade you earned. This is the level of education that can turn your life around. Is it expensive? Yes.
I am fully confident that I will regain the full amount I invested in the courses and feel I have already learned so much that I am no longer worried about the initial cost! Before signing up for this training, evaluate the type of person you are. Will you follow through and commit to this to make it work, or do you expect someone else to do the work for you?
You can only get out what you put in, similar to most things in life. I am not regretting taking this plunge, and neither are those around me who are committed to making it work!
- Awesome matt justice provides more learning than sales pitch
- Would have liked more time to plan for payment of the courses
Waste of time
It is a scam. Don't waste your time or money
The free 2-hour "seminar" is just a 2-hour sales pitch for their 3-day "seminar". The 3-day "seminar" is just a sales pitch for training that costs thousands of dollars.
It is a big waste of time and money. The guy, Trevor, who was the "Trainer" at the 3-day "seminar" I went to used vulgar language in addition to improper English grammar. He was incredibly unprofessional. I'm shocked that Robert Kiyosaki allows his name and brand "Rich Dad" to be used by this outfit.
I wonder if he knows what they do and say at these seminars. Even though you pay hundreds of dollars for the seminar and it goes from 9 AM to 6 PM, they don't even provide lunch, snacks, or sodas. It's coffee and water only. You have a lunch break, and have to leave and go get your own lunch.
They have no intention of teaching you anything about real estate investing. The entire "seminar" is just continual manipulation to try to get you to buy their training that costs thousands of dollars. I expected part of it to be sales, but I thought they would also provide some useful investing or real estate information while they are trying to sell.
That was not the case; it is a total waste of time and money. Don't waste your time or money.
Terrible purchase
It all started with the Sales person at the 3 day course telling us if we get the "group rate" - me and my friend, we can have different courses and share it with each other. That was the only reason why we decided to give away our hard earned $12,000 EACH to have some...
We both paid about 12k each. There is a mandatory course called "Master Trader" and the other 2 are optional. There are a lot of details that nobody tells you when you sign up for classes. All the classes are recorded and only available to you for 1 year.
When I was signing up I was hoping to have this as my school (it sure costs just like a normal school does) who would "take me by my hand" and teach me all the basics of trading, from the beginning to the end. Nope, didn't happen. Classes are similar to what you can find online for free and the mentorship option could be found somewhere else way cheaper than that.
Mentor is only available for 36 hours and they all push their labs that cost extra. Bottom line - don't buy it.
- Mentor keith
- Coaches have zero communication skills
- Not organized
- Not enough time to learn

A complete scam - fake comedy show - this should be illegal
We are a couple of investors, business owners and hard workers, who have had the luck (with hard work) to be successful on our businesses. We have done a couple of successful real estate deals in the past, and we thought assisting to this *"seminar" (* aka: scam, motivational comedy), would improve our abilities and will allow us to learn new skill sets.
When the course started, the first actor started to talk about how his life was miserable, and how enrolling to a $70,000 legacy course, changed his life. it all sounded like a bit “salesly” and “fake”, very similar to previous years experiences in ZRII conferences, and other network marketing-motivational type of gatherings. The room was packed with around 50 of us. Then, it started to get ugly: the first actor, was supposedly married to the second actress, they started quite talking if we were in a comedy or theater play, one responding to the other, yelling from one side of the room to the other where they started to bully the public, about how our lives were miserable, and how we were wrong on all we were doing in every aspect of our lives.
It was a little bit ok to hear this at the beginning, but a number of people (including us) in the room started to get anxious about why they wouldn’t start teaching the skill sets, in a professional/corporate type of way. After a couple of hours in that room it started to get frustrating, there was yelling all around, with fake “empathy” for ourselves and to explain why they loved us, and again, 120 seconds out of every minute, they “pushed” the idea as to why we would have to buy the course, same as they did, and now they were financially freedom (with lots of arrogance), but yet, nothing useful for us to absorb (if they “truly” cared about us – yeah right, what a flimsy sale tactic). The scam continued, until we started taking care of some personal and business matters over email, we decided to wait, but we weren’t listening to that BS for some more hours, so we decided to work from our phones and take care of daily routines. Suddenly the first actor, stopped my wife, and told her she should end texting on her cell phone.
She asked “why” very respectfully, and immediately with a tone of arrogance he asked her to leave the room. I was out grabbing some water, when I came in, she was getting all our computers and stuff out, super frustrated because of this embarrassing situation. I made a very formal and professional complaint to the receptionist, telling her what happened, and how we were not into this kind of sales push, and rather, we were taking charge of our businesses and other stuff, hopefully to see the conference get back on track to what was really useful for us as investors – we didn’t want a sales pitch, trying to sell us why not being employees, we are successful self-made entrepreneurs, we run multiple companies, we some tens of millions a year, but humbly we wanted to learn something new), well, they called the second actress, she came out of the room, and started almost humiliating us by not being inside listening to their fake story (I think her theatrical name was”Raquel”), I asked her why if we didn’t stop them from doing their thing altought I was in disagreement of how they were treating us (under my perspective, and under other 100’s of people’s perspective as well, after checking reviews – it was an incorrect way of selling a service) why should they stop me, so unprofessionally, from taking care of my stuff, until I could get attention to something useful in the meeting. She started saying sarcastically, how our business was wrong, and made us feel like little kids being punished by the almighty big brother (them), yes!
They are right, and we are very very wrong on what we are doing. According to their teachings, we should close our companies, and give them the money, to be another “blind supporter” to their cause. She asked us to leave the conference because we should not be there if we weren’t motivated to follow them and how they acted. We immediately told her we were out of there in a heartbeat.
I was so impressed of how people try to sell and make a living these days, just trying to scam other people, motivating their feelings on the wrong way, blindfolding them on a brighter future that does not exists (because their programs are not guaranteed, and they are very unreputable) that I decided to write this, for the careful and logic-minded driven people would read and make a decision of not wasting their money and 3 days of their lives on this theatrical scam. Then, I got to the office and started to see reviews, oh my god, maybe it was our fault by not doing our due diligence before.
hopefully if we can get some other thousands bad reviews about this scam, they can be shut off somehow, this should be even illegal. It’s a shame that such a great book as robert kiyosaki’s, is being misrepresented trough this fake show, do yourself a favor: invest in real state, but get backed up by real people, supported by real results.
- Fake and salesly
- Its all a trap for upselling you

Rich Dad free options webinar
The first webinar I thought was very good. The Rich Dad free options webinar.
The teacher talked about using a software called ivest. https://www.ivestplus.com/. showed us how to use it a little and it looked very good. Very promising.
I learned a great deal. At anyrate they sold me on the next 2 day classes at a discount for $97 supposed to be $899. I can log into my account and listen to the webinars but I haven't done that yet. But for the $97 I got 2 free months of the ivest account and after that $29 a month.
I was led to believe that the next 2 webinars would be teaching more on the ivest software etc. since the first webinar was all about it. Well they never even mentioned it. They were using some proprietary software that was a lot harder to understand.
So the class was scheduled for 2.5 hours both monday and tuesday only went 2. The first guy comes on and says we need to re-schedule for next week. I was like WTF. I drove from North Dakota to Minnesota 8 hours to spend time to have my son Cast the webinar onto his big screen TV so we could try to figure this out together.
The reason for Re-schedule was that only 7 people were there. 70% they said didn't attend. So the 2nd class was only 2 hours long and the guy had a cough going. probably sick.
And just like any kind of seminar etc spent way too much time with filler material that didn't mean squat and not enough time on actually teaching on options trading. Funny both the 2nd and 3rd used the same sample companies as the guy in the 1st webinar. I got more out of the 1 hour first webinar than 4 more hours. I got lost and I wasn't the only one.
they were trying to tell how to trade when stocks are going down in value. I guess I missed something. I don't know how you buy high and sell low and make money. I don't need to know the history of the Federal Reserve Bank or why mutual funds are bad.
I don't need to know that you have 20 years of experience and are worth millions. I need to get what was promised in the first webinar. btw 17 people in the 3rd webinar but 7 in the 2nd. I didn't call the mentor or email.
I have a feeling they are going to try to upsell me again. Here's a good one get out of the Rat Race right. I take winters off and head to Texas now. I didn't work for 8 months last year.
These Guys are working weekends and evenings doing webinars plus their job they do during the day. Hooking and Crooking people. What a joke. OK so I hopefully got one Gold nugget from the 3 hours and $97 going to try to learn the ivest stuff on my own.
I don't invest much money and I think the stock market is a scam.
This place didn't help. I own rental property and they are paid for.

SCAM - do not sign up!!
Ripped Off-
Rich dad also charged 102.09 sales tax on the courses states on the receipt. It's highly illegal.
All he talks about is investments briefly and then he loops around saying that you need coaches in life. After the initial 'interview', the coach sent me an email, "I am glad we connected today; I very much enjoyed talking to you. You have great energy and I appreciated your enthusiasm about coaching. I see you as a great candidate for a coaching program of this caliber.
Working with a Coach is not right for everyone; however, we look forward to exploring that possibility with you in your interview. " So I sign up, my total cost was $6000.00 minus a $100 by paying in full during the sales call. I had also requested a tuition receipt and they never sent it. When I heard from the coaching call about a free seminar about real estate investing hosted by Rich Dad Education I went there.
I should have known, but the seminar was a 3 hour sales pitch on purchasing an additional three day training for $495, which I purchased. The “Get Rich Quick” Seminar is basically a long drawn out sales pitch. When I attended the 3 days training, they sold me another 3 'Advanced Training' courses "package" for $11092.09 USD and also a software subscription of $39.95 per month for 2 years. The highest priced package comprised of 10 courses totaling $45,000 USD.
I was really excited at that time learning I'd soon to be successful in earning money in real estate investing. The most I could afford was $11,092 package of 3 courses. They gave me SCRIPTS to say to my credit card companies and took time out during the seminar to allow people to call their credit card companies to ask for the increase to $100,000. They taught us many real estate things and making up our own purchase contract i.e.
Wholesale (which is re-selling a purchase contract aka Assignment of contract) In the standard California purchase contract, it says Buyer shall not assign all or part of all or part of buyer's interest in this agreement. What they taught us to do is highly illegal and unethical and requires a real estate license in my state to do all those things involving real estate prices and disclosures. I am glad I didn't do all those things and 'steal' other people's homes and rip off others like they did. In California,'bird dogging' (paying someone unlicensed to provide leads) wholesaling are illegal.
I really didn't think I got my money's worth. I didn't attend all of their courses since I didn't have time at the end and didn't want to travel so far for their live training. I was tired of their up selling strategies. Video training didn't have any value even though they offered.
I really regretted spending that much money and found out I didn't learn anything practical except hearing all their investing stories that are too good to be true. I can see online that there are many similar complaints about these companies Rich Dad and Tigrent Learning and how they rip off other students money with their high sales pitch and false advertisement. It's really very unreasonable tuition that I paid thinking of how many illegal things they taught and constantly upselling.
Please let me know if I could get my money back. Thank you for reading and I'd appreciate your response.

Do your own research. Rich dad poor dad=poor dad.
Recently I went to a rich dad poor dad seminar in Brisbane, $1250 later I was preparing for the 3 day seminar when I came across so many negative reviews. I was outside the 7 day cancelation window.
I called my bank who gave me some reassurance that I could raise a dispute and suggested on contact the company. After multiple emails. I advised rich dad, that I wouldbe lodging a dispute with my bank and contacting fair trading Australia. Legacy Education gave me a full refund.
There is a wealth of realestate litricture educational material available. There are other courses available. Do your own research, it is all about risk minimisation. If there are others who attended this course I would like to read your review.
Good luck to all. :-)
I am a current student and I regret it
Big SCAM
I just attended the 3 day course in Auckland New Zealand. Peter M was the head spokes person.
I went to the free seminar and then i had to pay to do the 3 day course which was around $650 per person and they promised that they were going to tell us every thing we needed to know about real estate. when i got to the 3 day seminar/course it was all about them trying to scam u into another $35k course it was such a scam. Sales pitch - But lesson learned.
Thank you guys this was all helpful. I also signed up for this 3 day workshop hoping to learn something new.
The first day was such a waste because the speaker spent 6 hours telling us stories and how times are changing. The second day is when I got maybe 3 hours worth of general information and promises that he will go over the bulk of the good stuff on day 3. Meanwhile I had a one on one with a mentor and was told about the packages, which I told them I have to decide later tonight before I made a final decision. Now I'm on this site and Biggerpockets.com now doing my research.
These resources has made me realize that I wasn't in the mode to waste another 8 hours of my weekend, where probably the bulk of the workshop was going to be spent pressuring me into signing up for their packages ranging from $12.k- 51k. I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason. I attended the free seminar and the 3 day workshop which was $495 because the book, rich dad poor dad, did change the way I viewed money and the term passive income. From there at age 18 I knew that I had to at least get financially educated.
I needed to know everything there was about investments, accounting, law it was a whole new other language that was boring as *** at the time but I had too. Well fast forward 10 years I became an accountant, CPA, didn't buy a house but bought a 2 family home for cash flow and i'm still trying to increase my education in different types of investment on my own for now. In conclusion, if it wasn't for the book that changed my mindset, I would of never had all these years while in school to plan out my goals of getting out of being an employee. I would of never enrolled in this seminar, since I wouldn't have known about Robert Kiyo, thus not learning from this scam all the other types of tools there is out there to learn about creative financing, strategies and other learning sources like bigger pockets.
I would say this was a great lesson to learn and now I know what specific strategies I will focus on to try to succeed as an investor in real estate.
But please don't sign up for those elite classes. His book is a mind opener but nothing else.

When you preach to poor people trying to learn how to get out of whatever hole they're in, buying any package is beyond extremely difficult. *** ponying up $500 for the 3 day class is most likely stretching what they can afford.
Your review means nothing because you can afford it. Most of these people learned nothing except that they just lost $500.
You’re right....if you expect a free handout, you won’t get it here. If you can’t afford $500 for 3 days of knowledge, then I think it’s safe to assume you will always be broke.
Change your mindset, change your life.
