Poor wedding photos and lack of professionalism
I hired Rice Photography of Ohio to do my wedding photos. The package was priced right because the owner Patrick volunteered to price match any competitor and also beat the price by $50. I hired him after going to his studio,spending time with him and seeing his work at the studio and on-line. I felt like I was getting a slam dunk great photographer because of his knowledge, awards, and what I saw. The day came and He was an arrogant ***. My proofs were less than adequate and only 5 photos were worth getting prints made. He took 249 shots. 42 were of the back of us. He had to be given direction to take pic of me the bride with my family. All ceremony pics were of us from behind. One photo was taken of Me walking down the isle from the front! I contacted him 3 days before the wedding to ask where we should go to get bridal party pics. He gave me 2 locations. The day of the wedding he had no idea how to get there and sent us on a wild goose chase to find them. Wasted a lot of time finding destinations and they were both not what he described. He didn't take any photos of the bridal party together at any time. Most candid shots of me the bride were unflattering. His reaction to any of my concerns was his disdain for me calling out his lack of professionalism and questioning his artistic ability. He never once apologized for my dissatisfaction. My prints were hanging on the door of his studio in a Ziploc baggy, with not even a note to say Thank you for your business. My prints also were substandard... Lines across the faces. I had to have them redone. I never got a phone call from him or his office, just a quick message on FB that i may have to choose another photo. I can go on and on, He is an awful man, he runs an awful operation.
