Lawn Treatment Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • Overcharged for work not done.
  • Grass damaged during weed treatment; weeds came back.
  • Leaf removal not done; final bill arrived with interest.

Horrible horrible company. Overcharged for work that was never done, asked to treat the lawn for weeds and they destroyed all the grass in the process only to have to weeds return a few months later.

Said they completed leaf removal service that was never done and then agreed upon a final bill only to send us a bill a year and a half later with INTEREST.

Stay away! Horrible

Horrible - caused damage

AI Highlights
  • Lawn and equipment were damaged by the company.
  • Water entered the finished basement, causing thousands in damage after spending over $7,000.

Horrible - stay away. They left our lawn in worse shape than when they started.

Our landscapers complain about the damage our yard causes to their machines. They have no idea what they're doing, and their negligence caused thousands of dollars of damage to the inside of their house when water started coming into our finished basement instead of away from our house. This is a horrible company with a salesperson who doesn't listen, promises the world, and has no follow through. After spending over $7,000, he made our situation worse and ruined our neighbors lawn in the process.

We had to spend every day this winter spreading salt over the flood of ice that this company created. Instead of fixing it, they blamed us.

We have loads of documentation and would gladly share with anyone who wants to see it.

Revive Your Lawn fails to provide service

AI Highlights
  • Fast to respond, then unreliable and hard to reach.
  • Upfront payment for spring cleanup; fertilization done, cleanup not.

They are quick to call you back to get new customers, but that's where it ends. I contracted them for a spring clean up by hand with weeding and trimming of the landscaping, and summer long fertilization service for the grass, and paid a deposit up front.

Then i couldn't get them out to the house or get the guy to call back. Finally they showed, after several attempts, and didn't do the spring clean up. My dad was out at the house at the time, and said they walked around with a leaf blower in the landscaping, disturbed some wiring, and did the fertilization. They didn't do any weeding or trimming, or haul the trash out.

Then i couldn't get the guy on teh phone again. I tried several times to schedule them back to complete the work, to no avail. I'd call 5 or 6 times and leave messages each time before i'd get anyone on the phone, and no one would return my phone calls. The owner's attitude was: "hey, that's business, what are you going to do".

Finally, my dad did it for me. I would have done it myself initially if i weren't 7 months pregnant. Then i fought with him about getting my money back. It took me 5 weeks to get that back once he said he'd refund the clean up work, and when i got it, he sent me only 1/3rd of the amount we agreed on.

So, I paid over $105 to have someone walk through my landscaping with a leaf blower. I live on a really small lot, so we're talking maybe 5 minutes worth of work!
