They have ruined retirement living for me forever
There is a racket going on with other people's clothes, other people's jewelry, other people's money, other people's things that were stolen as well. It was admitted by the said party that she smoked on the property. She always came out of the cottage five because she said that's where they eat lunch, the workers. Well, they don't; they eat in the dining hall, the main dining hall in the activities room, so that was a lie.
She basically would tell you something to your face and lie to you behind your back. She's a known drug addict, user, and abuser, so I did not miss that place one time. Now that I moved to Circleville, Kansas, they've started here. He has broken into my house numerous times, taking money, taking jewelry, taking clothes, taking a broken hair dryer, and probably broken appliances I have in here.
He stole food out of my kitchen, stove, pots, and pans out of my kitchen, and the story goes on and on and on. When I lived there, to complain about things missing, I was told, 'Well, you probably misplaced it.' Well, other residents did the same and nothing was done about it. We did ask for cameras so that we could make sure that we were telling the truth; no cameras were installed. Also, I had the police called over there several times.
One officer said if the general manager gives you any slack about anything, then he has something that they will deal with. I don't know what that was, but he was very firm and very upset with what was going on with me. Other people have been missing clothes, bedclothes, jewelry, money. She has a racket; she's now the hospitality manager.
When people are eating dinner, she takes a 20 or 30-minute sabbatical and is upstairs checking apartments. She's not supposed to check empty apartments; she should not be in anybody's apartment. That was said by the manager that is in charge of getting people signed up. I told that lady that I thought Izzy needed a drug test.
Well, she turned it around on me. Izzy said I was using drugs outside in my car and dealing. She also said this and that; she got me banned from Thornton Place. I was there for almost 2 years; I did not do any of that.
I recently had a blood test taken to prove that I am not doing any of that. I can assure you that never took place. She quote unquote tried to help people and was trying to get to know them so she could steal things from them. There is a man that just moved in; he was there two weeks, and he lost his coin collection, all of his late wife's jewelry, etc., etc.
He was having a hard time, and again, it was told by the GM, 'You just probably misplaced it. Keep looking for it.' I got the same comment; so did many others, so a lot of people have moved since that. Since she took over, I know this because I became friends with a lot of them in Thornton Place. She ruined every bit of communication with me, and when the GM banned me from the property after Izzy told him I was out there doing drugs or dealing drugs from my car, that was it.
I asked Tammy, the manager that checks people and gets people to sign in and up, if they would take her for a drug test, not a *** test because she's too slick. Tammy said they would do it; at this point, I do not think they have. She apparently didn't need to have a drug test when she became a new hospitality manager because if they did, they would understand people's complaints. This is not just mine; it's many others.
Anyway, that's what I have to say. Please contact me at my telephone number; you already have it. I've left numerous messages.
I do appreciate your time and effort, and I pray that you look into this matter. Clarissa goes by Izzy.
- Safety was mikey factor and it was abused
Preferred solution: I wish that the hospitality director could get a drug test that's all I want also rent was going up and up and up I moved in at 1993 because that's all I could afford and the rent can't go in up and up and up and I had to move out financially.
