These guys have been telling me that Ive got a contract even though Ive sold my building, and my company that was housed in the building that Republic services serviced. I do not have a signature for a three-year contract on garbage and they will not provide me any information showing me this they just keep saying that theyve sent me emails phone calls left me voicemails and Ive gotten nothing from them, Ive called four times and three of those times were escalated to high escalation callback and Ive still not received one single callback from this company.
I dont know what to do anymore. I want the service out of my name and the trash picked up the new owner can start a whole new service.
They dont have to hold me accountable for responsibility. This is not an ethical company and its very unorganized when it comes to customer service they will not return your calls and after these reviews that Ive left Im going to get every single phone call in the world to try and figure this out now that its escalated on my end to the point of no return do better republic services just do better!!

I have called twice about a clean up on our property and have had no calls back. I place a 3rd call this morning and Jade answered.
I explained to her what our issue was with hydraulic fluid spilled in our parking lot and tracks all the way out our drive and being a Church and school, it was not esthetically pleasing to see this for over 2 weeks now.
Jade responded very rudely by saying, " Will the only way I can help you is for you to listen and give me your address that I asked for when the call started!'
She did not ask me for address of business because I was telling her my issue.
So she proceeded to check the complaints from last week and earlier this week and then said, " I can not do anything about this because it has been sent to another dept., a higher up dept.!"
So I responded by telling her that I was going to hold our bill until we had a clean up completed, and that was from my higher up dept. as well.
She then told me I was rude and I didn't have to be so rude!
I was simply stating in a manner that she treated me with, a long standing corporate commercial customer!
This employ was very rude and I would not have her answering phone calls from disgruntled customers.
In fact, If I was her supervisor, I would have to fire her for responding to one of Republics long standing reputable customers.
We will no longer speak with Jade, and we will avoid conversations with her from this day forward.

The recycling people did not come on Monday the 15th when they had told me that they would take the recycling on Wednesday the 10th.

Totally aggravated by this text nonsense. I have a broken trash can that needs replace.

It has a crack down the back side. A simple call to replace was all I was looking for.
Didn't pick up my recycle
It was our mistake. I thought since others bins were still out at 1:00pm,were full .
They were not my apologies. We put our bin out at 8am , missing the pick up
Promised pickup for missed pickup
My regular bulk trash pick up was scheduled for Monday, March 18. It was left at the curb as usual.
No bulk service was provided that day, so I called and was promised pick up on Wednesday. Wednesday came and no pick up as promised, I called customer service again this morning and was guaranteed I was on the list for today, March 21st. When it got close to 4:00 pm with still no pick up, I called customer service (because they close at 4:00), that yes, I was definitely on the list for today and they pick up until 6:00 pm.
Well, here it is 6:15 pm and no one came to pick up. This is not acceptable service.

Ended service but RS hasn’t picked up cans
Ive contacted Republic Service three times to inform that I am terminating service because Ive moved. They charge $15 to pick up their trash cans.
Ive been charged this fee. They were supposed to pick them up on 5/13. I called on 5/14 when the cans were still at the curb and was told theyd pick them up on 5/15. I called again on 5/20 when the cans were still at the curb and was told theyd be picked up on 5/21.
Its 7:30 pm on 5/21 and the trash cans are still at the curb. What does a person have to do to make them pick up their trash cans?!
User's recommendation: Try to avoid using Republic Service. Their call center seems to be good but their follow through is awful!
Course enquiry
I have applied for the course on Zero Waste for Manager online earlier. Unable to check the course status as there is no record of my application.
I tried to reapply for the same course again but fail as the system response is u have applied for the course intake. I have called and feedback via Live Chat.
Dont know how to proceed from here. Stuck!
Complaint from citizen about a truck
I have heard back from Republic Services all taken care of now. Complaint has been handled by management. Nothing further needs to be done.
Rude customer service
She insults me if she doesn't understand what I'm saying on the customer service. When I say 15th, it's the 12th, so it's the 15th, so I understand. No matter how calm you are, I know you're a sewage.
Price Gouging
We signed up for Republic Services nearly 3 years ago. As time passed the quarterly cost kept increasing until it nearly doubled to over $800 annually.
So we cancelled our service and started with another company for significantly lower cost.
To top off the price gouging, Republic then charged us $112 to pick up the two cans. Avoid this company as their fees are too high and they tack on additional exorbitant fees.

Garbage regularly not picked up as scheduled. Recycling not picked up as scheduled.
This happens over and over again. At one time the person I spoke with asked me if I lived on a dead end street or on a corner. I don't, but what difference does that make? They never have a problem taking my money and I never get credit for service not received.
Lots and lots of sugar sweet apologies. What a lousy business!!!
