Bad Medical Practice

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I was double billed by this UPMC doctors office. I called the

Renaissance Family Practice Penn Hills about this over billing and they lied to me over and over.

I called the UPMC billing office who lied and said charges were accurate.

They did not handle my routine blood tests, PTIR well. Doctors don't review results, techs give their advice on your next appointment and medication dose. I have found that UPMC charges more than other health networks and you are billed more out of pocket.

I have raised my concerns with my health insurance company and will file a complaint.

I would not trust them with my health ever again. The back office is incompetent.

If you don't like the doctor/practice then you should definitely go elsewhere. Some doctors just don't have any manners.

But if you think UPMC is more than say Highmark, you'd be wrong.

I've had health insurance for over 30 years, and believe me when I say UPMC isn't the most expensive. Good luck to you.
