Trying to talk to technical support about a warranty problem
Trying to speak to a human is a joke, almost an impossible task. Been on hold, listening to music for over an hour.
User's recommendation: Usually quality but if you have a problem good luck getting help, been on phone listening to music while on hold for over an hour.

Horrible Experience
I purchased a 40 gallon Reliance water heater on 01/25/2018 and when I got it installed, I discovered that it was dead on arrival. After five hours of working on it, trying to find the problem, I gave up and replaced it the same day. The second water heater was a different brand and it went in and works fine since the above date. It went in without a single hitch. When I contacted Reliance Water Heater Company and explained the problem to them, to my surprise, they Blatantly Refused to honor their warranty. They told me that it had to be Hard wired into the Breaker Box, Not plugged into a receptacle that was designed for this application. I tried to explain to them what my background in electricity is but they could care less. They found a loop hole to crawl through to keep from having to warrant their products and they will use it without any regard to rhyme or reason. My advice to everyone is to STAY AWAY FROM ALL RELIANCE PRODUCTS as if you get a lemon, all I can say is GOOD LUCK getting any satisfaction from this company.
