They are one of the reasons our Medical Insurance is so high!
I like the Libre 3, but am a bit ticked off at Reliable Respiratory, the supplier I have now, but will soon be leaving. I was sold an over-priced meter that is useless.
Medicare was charged $264.25 and I had to pay $164.98 myself. There's an APP that does the same thing as the meter. More actually, and it's FREE. It's the App OR the meter.
You can't use BOTH. So that was a waste of $160.00. Reliable also Charges my Medicare $784.92 for 6 Libre 3 sensors, and I end up having to pay $156.98. That averages out to $130.82 per sensor.
If you shop around you can EASILY find sensors for under $90.00. THIS Company is price gouging and one of the reasons why medical insurance is going so high!!!
