Original review May 29, 2017

I put my posts back up on Facebook and on their website after being threatened by the Executive Director of the Kindred Greenfield facility to take it down.  The care is poor at best.  The nurses are hateful, rude and retaliatory.  The let my brother lay in urine for 14 hrs before they changed him (he was incontinent)and only did so after we complained.  His continuous feed bottle was empty for 9 hrs and only replaced after we complained.  He was catherized because they didn't want to change him every 2 hours because we were told they were understaffed.  When we came in afterwards, he had handprints and blood blisters where I assume someone held him down while being catherized because it wasn't there prior to it.  We could not get any where with the staff, so we requested to talk to the Executive Director or Nursing Director.  We were told that we could not speak with them.  We finally had to go there and cause a scene about other issues before they reported us to the Director and threatened to have us barred from seeing my brother at all as long as he was a patient there. Wouldn't they have lived that?

That way we would have never known about the abuse.  Finally, we had a meeting with the Executive Director. The Nursing Director and Social Services manager, in which the Exec Director screamed and yelled at us telling us that HE would have is barred from visiting.  He also screamed and yelled at us telling us he would NOT talk to us if we threatened legal action.  He also told us to take down our negative comments or he wouldn't be able to help us because of the paper work it would cause him if Corporate saw the negative comments.  He also said that our cell phones had to be put away and we could not take pictures of the neglect. So many other things happened, but too much to list.  With my brother's family members being verbally abused, I can only imagine what  my brother endured when we were not there.  We had him moved from there after the Director conducted himself like he did.  That was verbal and emotional abuse by him to my brother's family members.   Don't EVER take a loved one to ANY place that has KINDRED in its name.  The reason you see only good reviews is because you are either threatened to take down negative comments or they will take them down according to this Director.  That is why he can boast about a 5 star rating.

And he and his family members pit 5 star reviews to boost their ratings. I've seen them!
