Hi I booked an appointment for a dry hair trim for my disabled son who is 11yrs old at your Birkenhead Wirral salon I wasnt informed at any time of the price nor did as I ask as I assumed it would be a reasonable price .
On paying I wasnt informed just handed the the card reader which unfortunately I couldnt read as Id forgotten my glasses I stated this to the hairdresser !
When I left I checked my online banking and to my astonishment and disgust I was charged £27 I then called one of your other salons in the area and they said it shouldnt have cost that much for a child of his age .
I then called the salon who did the cut to complain and she informed me that was the rate that Regis state they have to charge! And she then said I shouldve asked which I disagree a cost should always be provided before a commitment is made , Im a single mum with a severely unwell child that cant afford to spend £27 on a childs haircut that has taken food off the table . Im hoping you agree that the price charged is unreasonable as Id further not take this further re naming and shaming via social media at the moment I am extremely upset I usually cut his hair myself as money is tight and now I wish I had and .

LOL. The girl, Ceirra Hammonds, BUTCHERED ME and GOT BY WITH IT. And, she sold me OLD and STINKING Shampoo & Conditioner and got by with it.They kept over $66.00 from a 65 year old woman, cancer survivor, AND COULD CARE LESS.
She said she could. I told her I dried my hair with my fingers. At end she had to use a razor on back to make cut & style SEEM RIGHT. She used brushes n blow dryer to style her BUTCHERING OF ME.
Then, sold me shampoo & conditioner for volume.
I am 65 years old, on a limited income and have survived Cancer. $66.74 is A LOT of money to me.
On Monday, 10/9/2023 I washed hair n saw WHAT Ceirra Hammonds had done. Butchered Me! I called n went to the salon.
She was there alone. She told me to sit in chair and we would talk about my hair. AS IF I WERE STUPID ENOUGH TO LET HET TOUCH MY HAIR AGAIN!!! I asked to return the UNUSED SHAMPOO & CONDITION (UNUSED) BECAUSE IT STINKS.
She said NO REFUNDS.
TOLD HER GOD BLESS YOU and LEFT.
I was referred to another place n went there because of needing emergency help of my BUTCHERING. My hair WAS 4 DIFFERENT LENGTHS and the stylist could not explain what CEIRRA HAMMONDS did to my hair. This stylist cleaned up the butchered mess. And, this salon DOES ACCEPT UNUSED PRODUCTS.
YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING TO CORRECT THE BUTCHERING BY A STYLIST.
I will file a report with the BBB and trying to get an article in a local paper.
I went to Randolph County Senior Citizens for a lunch and the people could not BELIEVE WHAT HAD BEEN DONE TO MY HAIR. I saved many from going to this salon and Ceirra Hammonds.
Took my money, butchered my hair, got by with it, and NEVER OFFERED ME A REFUND.

Gift card issues
I am having an issue using a gift card that my mother had purchased for your brand at Cost Cutters. I have use the card one time at a Cost Cutters in new Berlin Wisconsin, but had a lot of issues trying to get them to use it. I then was very upset about the way I was treated and did not want to go back to that Cost Cutters, and found another salon Supercuts that was also owned by Regis from my understanding they would except the gift card but when I showed up for my appointment, they said they do not except a gift card although I was told from a previous employee couple days ago that they do except the gift cards I would just like to get my haircut if somebody could please help me find someplace to get my haircut with this gift card that my mother purchased

I was discriminated against on 3-17-2021 because I have a disability and require a service dog for a company to me. I WORK for Walmart back home and have always gotten my hair done at smart style there and have never had an issue.
Keep in mind federal ADA has power over state laws they are trying to put words in my mouth saying he I told them training where he is very obviously not and is popular for task work on TikTok and YouTube. The stylist called her manager who both told me that they had a health inspector coming this week and if they saw the dog in the salon, or they found dog hair they would be in trouble. I did sit down in the salon chair for a brief second and had Apollo lay down underneath the salon table where he laid on three clumps of hair. I do not understand as to why dog hair versus human hair is an issue aren't they supposed to clean after every person's hair cut?
Furthermore, I have been blocked from commenting or review on their Facebook. I tried to inform them that local health codes don't apply for service dogs!

Bad experience and rude staff
It was my daughters first time getting her hair colored... and it was her 15th Birthday. The lady didnt explain anything about the coloring process, bring out any color swatches, or ask any questions.
3 hours later, her hair literally had no color in it. After dried I was upset and asked why it was like that. Then she goes well we are out of the color you wanted so I diluted a different color... didnt tell us any of this or talk to us about it at all. So I was upset. My daughter asked her to put more color in.
Another hour later (so 4 hours total now) it was definitely a different color, but NOTHING even close to what we wanted. Then to top it off, she goes into the back room and says to another stylist HER PARENTS ARE *** where my daughter could hear her and got upset.
So 4 hours for a color that was a disaster and a person insult from a crabby stylist who kept pulling her phone out and txting on it and didnt talk to us at all... cost me $250
I will NEVER be going there again. And honestly that stylist should be fired. She is horrible at hair and a terrible person in general.

Rude manager
Tonya, manager of Smartstyle in Altus, OK, tips customers off. She has her stylist, Rainey charge $20 for a Mans haircut.
This is supposed to include a shampoo which is never offered. No express cuts for men is they use razor and scissors. When questioned, Tonya held up her hands and saud these are my skills. They have ripped my husband off several times.
Was told today he is no longer allowed in the store backed by Corporate and Tonya the manager. Feel sorry for Rainey. She said she cant help it. The salon is going downhill with many good stylist quitting and going elsewhere.
I went to get styling products last week at 4:50 p.m. stayed on the boundary marker and listened to Tonya and Rainey talk. Finally at 4:58 Tonya looks at me and I tell her I needed a lot of styling products and she told me she closes at 5:00 and they were closed and I would have to come back.
Saw Rainey in Walmart and apologized to me.
With so many businesses closing including Smartstyle Salons, it would seem they would be customer friendly. Altus is a small town, however, we do have choices and I predict Altus Smartstyle wont be open much longer with What is going on there.

They treat employees like trash.. unfair pay..everyone is blamed for everything even if u didn't do anything. Ppl let's take action..this company is ripping off clients and employees in a major way..

Their prices are online. Regis is not considered a high end place in the U.S. The UK prices are absurd!
That price is very high but it falls back on you for not asking. You came to them. They did not solicit your business on the street.
