Regal boats are Garbage
- - Factory trim tabs not hooked up; shower leaked.
- - Radar failed and the generator overheated.
- - Bought for $680,000 and sold at a $200,000 loss.
I owned a 2023 36 XO, the worst financial mistake I ever made! From the factory, the trim tabs were not hooked up, the shower leaked into the bedroom, sliding doors did not lock or brake, the generator overheated, and the radar failed!
$680,000 for a new boat. After that, the swim platform became disconnected, cheap stainless hardware started to corrode, swim platform latches broke, lights went out, the anchor started falling apart, the fridge broke, and the list goes on. The worst part is the dealer and Regal do not care. It takes months to get anything fixed, and when they do fix it, they charge you for labor!
I got so sick of it, I sold it, losing $200,000 but I had to, I could not keep up with things falling apart. In 2 years, I never got to go out on it without something breaking.
Terrible experience and service! Don't waste your money.

Regal 2550 LSC ,Regal Support not working!

I resently become owner of 1999 Regal LSC 2550.
During transportation the boat was flooded with some fresh water!( Cabin - about 30 cm water , and battery compartment - 10 cm water. )
The battery charger is dead, still checking the invertor...
The engine is dry , and all nav instruments are operational.
I have a few questions if you have time.
1.
Do you have the compartments (bottom, double bottom) drawing of the boat , because ... some water is comming allways in the V shape bottom under the stair inside the cabin... if the boat go with diferent to the bow?( I am not familiar with the compartment design...
is it normal ( i spot the previous owner was pull a dutry pipe from inner sink to this bottom, were the watter was saw).
2.Can I order carpet and all textille (ceiling) stuff for the boat cabin from you?
3. Can I order outside front and back seat leather covers?

Hi,
I purchased a Regal LX6 last year (2022) and my Power Hardtop started to rattle immediately after commissioning when I was underway. As soon as I understood that there was something wrong, I got in touch with Wayne Connell who responded to my initial email, but never followed through on a plan for repair.
In the meantime, the problem persists and my the arm is now bubbling and the gel coat is cracking. Petzold's Marina in CT from whom I purchased the boat is aware of the problem.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
