Simply to state what has happened

I called for services as one of the valves for gas stove is not working. Osayi came for $99 service and he told me it will be $695 to replace the valve including the labor.

I can get it fixed for $590 as a new customer. It seems a lot so I asked other appliance companies, and they were shocked at the quote I got from Osayi. In the end, I fixed it at $227 including the part which is at $72. I am simply stating the facts for those who are looking for appliance work.

I did search online for the valve and it is $72 per online price.

P.S. I asked Osayi to itemize $695 by part and labor, he told me that it is just $695 as a whole not breakdown and it is the industry standard.

The invoices I got in my whole life are all itemized by part and labor etc. Here is the appliance repair I used in the end for $227: Alpine Applicance Repair@***1 286 ****.

Over charged and did not fix issue

He , Osayi, the owner of company, came to house to fix freezer. He charged $560.00 for a motor fan.

He got the wrong one, did not work. He came back with another motor fan, freezer still not working, same issue, ice accumulation. The motor should only have cost $100.00, Osayi said I was paying for his marketing fees etc.

Freezer still not fixed. He has no knowledge of appliances.
