Quality of Swell sole sandals

To whom it may concern,

As a Florida resident - I am always in 'flip flops' and have pretty much worn them daily for the last 50 or so years. I have owned "Reef", Kino's, and Olu Kai pretty much exclusively for the duration.

The last several years I've been wearing the Olu Kai brand due to comfort and durability.

I recently saw the advertisement for the Reef Swell-sole sandal and was impressed with what I saw. I went to "Ron-Jon' in Cocoa Beach and purchased a pair in size 10 for $75.00 a week ago today.

I have tried to wear these sandals daily - however, after today, I'm giving up on this pair of sandals. The sandal refuses to fit tightly and keep moving around under my feet, this causes the sandal to move on both feet and after about 20 steps, I end up with my heel off the sandal, leaving my entire heel of my foot about 1/2 way off the sandal. In addition, the toe strap seems to be very loose as well, sometimes my toe stays in the tow strap, sometimes it slides out.

I almost appears to me that the straps of this sandal is extremely loose and doesn't grip the foot or hold the sandal in place.

Needless to say, In todays economy I am extremely dissatisfied with my 75.00 investment - I currently would not be able to recommend this sandal to anyone. I cant comment on the comfort of the sandal because I'm unable to walk any measurable distance in the sandal without my feet sliding around in the sandal and eventually, the heel sliding off. As I stated earlier, I've worn many different brands, but this is the first time I've ever had issues with any pair of sandals.

I hope you will take the time to mention this to your design team and see if it's a defective design or just my unlucky day. As of now, these flip flops are going to go into the closet until I can get to the Goodwill store and donate them -- very disappointed with this purchase.

BShoes are mismatched and dont fit. I wrote a email with attached photos, yet no answer. The sandals are the same size, but are somehow mis-cut. Am waiting almost three months, but no response from REEF. Want my money back. Summer is over and I couldnt wear the sandals.

I ordered two pairs of reefs shipped via fed ex then handed off to usps. Ten days later still no flip flops.

USPS site says could not be delivered and could not be returned, sent to a mail recovery site in CA?! Looked for a customer # on my email receipt and nothing so I found a number on Google. You call and a voice message tells you that due to increased volume, representatives are no longer available by phone. Email is the only way to communicate, so I email and get a response back later that same day, only problem was that it was a "form response" about thier exchange policy.

It would seem to me that Reef is taking on all the business it can get but sadly they are not valuing their customers by paying to provide them with adequate customer service. I sent one more email and waited 10 days with no response!

I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. Come on reef, you need to do better.

Issue with shoes.

I bought Reef flip flops in June. The cork is coming off the right shoe. I would like a replacement if possible. They were $50.00. I could've bought a $10.00 pair from Walmart they probably would last longer!!
