Appalling treatment from Redcliffe hospital

My partner was taken by ambulance to Redcliffe hospital last night around 8.00pm. He has been having difficulty breathing for the past few days. Ambos said may have need to be admitted.

We waited in the waiting room for 5 hours within that time no one spoke to us, or even apologied for the delay.

When we went into treatment room I was discussed on the filth on the floor and walls.

My partner was seen by a doctor who told him he had the flu, but had to speak to his boss. We waited another 45 mins to be told to see our go tomorrow. We asked on serval occasions if we were going to be treated here or you going to tell us to see our gp. Why make people wait when you could of answered the question in the first place, where is the Duty Of Care?

Also to make judgement on people and read previous chart, doesn't mean he is threatening to harm himself, why ask that question and discriminate when he was there because he COULDNT breathe. Also to tell us what the gp prescribed him has ventolin in it to come home to research it to find out it that is true. Wrong you gave us misinformation.

A doctor on your payrol also reading up on how to plaster just before she performs what looked like her first. She looked so uncomfortable nod unprofessional, I would not trust her with my children.

Child taken to hospital with high temperature of 40.5

ambulance took my child to the hospital as he had a high temp of 40.5 and had a very rapid heart rate, opon arrival at the hospital they waited 20 mins to take temperature then we had to wait in the waiting room for over two hours. thankfully my childs temp decresed to normal. The staff at the hospital gave my child a basic health check, did a urine test which came back ok.Then informed me that my child obviously has a viral or bacterial infection which is causing his high fever, But they could not find the cause.Did they request more testing to find the problem no of course not.Bet they would if i had private health cover
