Damaged Bunk Bed at the time of Delivery

Beware: Avoid buying There prices are low compare to Ashley and fall in that trap. They sell damaged furniture. Which Ashley don't accept to sale in their store. We have ordered the bunk bed for my daughter from Katy Red Tag Furniture location. I paid the agreed money including the assembly charges. 2 guys came to deliver and assemble the bed. While assembling i found out one side of bed panel cracked and while assembling they damage the other part of the bed (Drilled at the edge). When i mentioned it they said they will come and replace it. All this damages were present at the time of delivery. I have also mentioned these damages on the delivery receipt. After a week when i called them. They said they don't have pictures. So i sent them pictures. Now they said they will order the parts. it has been a months they are still saying the same thing or connecting phone from one person to another. My daughter still don't use new bunk bed, We are scared it might fall apart.

I'm an active duty member in VA. I bought a beautiful Ashley dinning room table from them off EBay and paid in full and for shipping on August 4th. As of Sept. 2, They still have yet to even ship the item. I have spoke to the owner and many of the co workers on numerous occasions. I have been promised 5 different shipping dates and non of them have been honored. The last conversation with the owner left me with impression he has no intention of shipping the item. I have confected the BBB. An absolute nightmare. Never do business with these people. They have no integrity. I just got married and this was one of our first home purchases together and they ruined this whole experience. The owner never returns calls or emails. He still has my money and my item and I want one or the other. I want him to honor his promise and deliever dinning room set. The owners are man named Curt and lady named Debbie

Red Tag Completely Rips People OFF

I ordered and paid for a dining table on 5/4/13, I was told that it would be delivered on 5/21/13. on 5/21/13 after the table was not delivered on the promised delivery date, I called and was told they would call me back. they never called back. I had to call back again and was told that it would be another 3 weeks before they would have the table. I waited another 3 weeks and again the table did not show up on the delivery date that they promised. I called and again and they told me they would call me back but, they never called back again. After I called them back they told me it would be delivered within a couple of days. After a couple of days no delivery again. I called them once again because they don't bother to call their customers ever and explain what has happened, but they told me they would have to call me back. They never called back again so I had to call back again to find out why I still haven't received my table but they wouldn't answer the phone. In fact I called probably 7 times until they closed but no one answered the phone, probably because they were trying to thing of the next lie to tell me. I called the next day and they told me that they couldn't get the table and there are no refunds. They said I had to pick something else from them but I couldn't get my money back. after I searched their site I settled for something else. It is now 6/21/13 which is one month after the table was supposed to be delivered and nearly 2 months after I have purchased it but I finally received a call that the delivery will be between 1:00pm and 4:00pm. Well at 5:00 there was no table or no call to explain what is going on so once again I had to call them. they said they were running late and they might be there at 7:00. well after wasting my entire day since 1:00 the table showed up at 8:15 at night. Read reviews on these people before you get screwed like many people have, Google red tag mattress reviews. They claim they have changed management but it is the new management that is horrible so don't be fooled

AVOID Red tag mattress and furniture of Katy

I went in to Red tag furniture store in Katy, tx to purchase my daughter a bedroom set. First I was told it would take 2-4 weeks for delivery, but probably 3 weeks. No biggie, I paid half of the total the day it was ordered, then two weeks later I paid off the balance. A week later I haven't heard anything from the store about if my order was in and ready for delivery so I call the store. First they tell me the furniture was delivered on the date I paid it all off. I informed the guy that I do not have any of the furniture delivered (and now red flags are flying up in my head..) and he tells me he will look into it and call me back. An hour later I don't hear anything so I call back only to now be told the bed is on back order until three weeks later at least. Ok.. I get back orders happen but what about the dresser and night stand? Again I am told he will check into it and call me back. Again sometime goes by and no call. So finally I decide just to go to the store to speak with them since giving me a call is so very difficult (like why didn't they call to tell me the bed was on back order for one?? Did they think I'd just forget I dropped nearly a grand for furniture to never receive it and be perfectly ok with that?) after going to the store and being cordial as possible (which was hard cuz trust me I was pissed!) he calls their distribution center and find that they can deliver the dresser the following day. That satisfies me enough even though I should not have had to go through that much trouble to get a third of my order. The dresser was delivered the following day (much to my surprise and relief). So I wait the few weeks to see if the bed is going to be delivered (and this point I wasn't told anything about the nightstand and where that was) and when I go in to see of its still being delivered on the date I was told they said it was set up to be delivered a full 8 days after I was told it was to be delivered (almost two months from the original purchase date at that!!). We still haven't recieved the furniture as the date is still five days from today but this has been the worst furniture buying experience I've ever had. Terrible costumer service and two months from purchasing date to recieve furnituee (after being told only 2-4 weeks at that) is rediculous!! And as it stands I don't know if for sure I'll even get the furniture on the day I've been given. They don't bother to call you to let you know of any delays, changes or arrivals of items (we purchased a mattress here too but did pick up and after waiting most of the day for a call on the day it was supposed to be ready for pick up only to have to call them to find out it was there.. Thanks for the call I was supposed to get. Should have known at this pint what shoddy service they have).. They have lost my future business (which would have been a for sure sale as we are looking to get a new bed for ourselves and new couch for living room in the not too distant future. Sadly even had my couch picked out from the store but after this experience I'm afraid of ever giving them a dime only to have to wait forever and fight them for what I paid for!) and I can NOT reccommend them to anyone. Avoid this store unless you want to have to harass the store and wait rediculous amount of time to get your furniture! Not how a business should be run. How do they expect to have any returning costumers if they treat them like this?!

Ohhhhh Yes.. Red Tag is a mess.

Customer Service stinks. The delivery services stinks and when I get all MY mess straightened out, I will never ever deal with them again.

There is not enought internet space to tell what they did to me. i will just be releaved to be done with them

In March I financed a living room set. The first week of May I had not received any information from the finance company.

I called the store and I was told it could take up to 45 days to receive payment information. I called Red Tag numerous times and was always told they would have to call me back. When I called and spoke to the finance company they informed me they had no record of my account or a credit approval. Finally at the END of June I reviewed a welcome letter from the finance company stating my payment was 30 dollars more than the price discussed in March with the salesmen.

I called the finance company to discuss this. They said they had a contract which I had signed on June 17..... I had NEVER received a contract from either the store or the finance company.

They mailed me the contract and I was shocked to discover that my signature from my sales receipt had been copied and pasted into a contract that was dated 3 months after I had purchased the furniture!!! :(

You don't get welcome packets for loans unless you have signed the contract. So you mean that you got furniture delivered without a signature? Wow I need to shop there....This is a *** review probably tried to scam!!!

OBVIOUSLY YOU HAVE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE,HOWEVER, I HAVE PURCHASED FURNITURE FROM THE 1960 STORE LAST YEAR. I WENT BACK A FEW DAYS LATER AND ORDERED MORE.

IN FACT, I SAW YOUR COMPLAINT WHILE LOOKING FOR THEIR NUMBER TODAY SO THAT I CAN ORDER 3 PIECES I SAW ON LINE. YES, MY FIRST FURNITURE WAS NOT IN STOCK AND I HAD TO WAIT. I HAVE HAD THIS WITH MOST FURNITURE, BUT IF YOU WANT A CERTAIN PIECE THAT IS NOT IN STOCK YOU DO HAVE TO WAIT AND THEY HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THE SUPPLIERS. I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CALL ME "WHEN" IT CAME IN WITH AN APPROXIMATE DATE.

REGARDLESS, IT IS HARD TO FIND SUCH HELPFUL, HONEST, AND HARDWORKING OWNERS AND MANAGERS.

THE PRICE IS ALSO ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND FOR THE QUALITY YOU GET. FOR THOSE READING THIS COMPLAINT - CHECK OUT THE WEBSITES AND SEE ALL OF THE GREAT REVIEWS.

I'm very happy you have had good service and a happy ending to your purchase....or are you really an employee of this store trying to redeem your company name because I also purchased from the 1960 store and the employee by the name " s***n" he messed up my paper work lied about delivery date and was so happy to take my money for payment but not do anything else right but take my payment! This location may be a good place for you to purchase at but then again maybe the employee by the name s***N is the one you want to avoid at all cost to let handle your business and then when he is confronted he calls you a lier and gets rude .....so if you go to 1960 location refuse this guy as the one who sells to you

It's obvious that GG is NOT just a customer giving a review. From reading the response, I can tell you that GG is either the owner of Red Tag store or someone affiliated with Red Tag because customers do not use terms like "suppliers"...

that's a term used by either employee or owner of the business. Customers more than likely would use "manufacturers". It's also obvious that GG is affiliated with Red Tag because at end of review, GG is pushing how great the price is for quality and for readers to check out the website and great reviews.

THIS IS NOT AN UNBIAS REVIEW BY GG BUT AN ADVERTISEMENT BY GG FOR RED TAG. Sorry but it stinks!!!

Red Tag Furniture- customer service is horrible.

I placed my furniture on layaway with Red Tag Furniture with their four month plan but paid it off in two months. Once I paid my furniture in full, including delivery, I was told that I they did not have all of my furniture and accessories in stock and that I would have to wait at least a week before I could have all of my items. Even though I paid for a full delivery, I was told that I would have to pick-up my remaining items myself once they were in stock and that the rest would be delivered. Once I had my furniture delivered, the delivery man said that I could have the rest of my stuff delivered once they were in since I paid for delivery... two weeks later, I receive a phone call from a store associate telling me that the remainder of my items were ready for pick-up and I told her that I wanted them delivered, as I was told by the delivery man... she said she would forward the message to the supervisor... I still have yet to receive another phone call from them... and it is now three weeks since I paid off my furniture... this store is unorganized, unprofessional, and irresponsible. I will never reutrn to their store, and will make it my mission to tell everyone who asks about them and how they treat their customers.
