Red Dog Pet Resort And Spa

*** pet "resort" around. Employees dont give a *** about the dogs and all they do is gossip.

Laura is basically a 3 year old who has little tantrums. Shes never had to work for much in life and lies to all of the customers.

Very much about money. Too bad a lot of the employees *** about the place and their hate for Laura.

I recently had my pet stay at the red dog on madsion rd. When the night guy brought my dog out.

He did it quickly and all my dog items were there. My pet was very upbeat and frisky.

The place is clean safe and the prices are reasonable. I like red dog

If you want stress, anxiety and severe complex disorders. Then this place is for

you. Just be prepared to be on any of the following. Zanex, buproprin, adivant,

prozac, and you might want to find a good therapist.

Management is a total joke, the director or whatever is so fake, you can smell

the *** coming out of her mouth.If you say anything to her, shell take and

twist your words, to make you feel like ***. The assistant director is pretty

much a useless waste of space. I feel bad for the front desk, as they are

basically trained to lie to customers, and nickel and dime them.

Daycare oh god thats just a disaster on its own. Most if not all of the employees you work

with are liars and will throw you under the bus, if something would arise. Youll learn to know who the liars are and who arnt

The grooming well ill tell ya this much, the front desk might tell you the

groomers dont set their own prices, but they do.

Also if you do end up working here (god knows why) and if they stick you as pet

care person, beware of a lady, it wont be hard to figure out, shes

pretty much rude and scares most if not all the people off because of her bad

attitude. Shes apparently like jesus there, and even though many people have

complained to human resources, shes still there.

Its been rumored that she the director and the guy that owns the place have a

weird love triangle.

Thats another thing, if I were you I wouldnt tell anyone there anything about

your personallife, because oh the rumors that get started there. The lies that

place will believe is kind of terrifying.

Im telling you, this place is bad news. Youd be better off being eaten by

vultures then work at this hellhole.

Employees are treated unfairly or there favoritism. They also will listen to

only one side of every story/complaint.

And thats why I wouldnt recommend taking your pet there...I wouldnt want my pet

to be under that kind of care

Let me tell you a little something about Red Dog. The employees there are the laziest people you will ever meet.

I was with a friend at the dog park one evening for almost an hour and the entire time on of the employees is right out front talking on his phone. We found out later that he is the only one there at that time. So if your dog is wanting to go outside and barking its head off no one is going to heat it. We asked him how many dogs he had there and he told 170 to 180.

I thought there was some kind of dog to human ratio at those places. He then tells us that there is another guy that comes in and stays overnight with the same amount of dogs. I am not going to leave my dog in the hands of one employee. Plus the guy on his phone is neglecting the animals.

In that one hour time frame something could happen to one of those dogs and in the end its going to hurt the owner.

I worked at Red Dog Pet Resort and Spa in cincinnati from before the opening until recently (over three years). I was responsible for managing the daily operation of the business.

From my close contact with the owner I was constantly aware of his racist, sexist and greedy personality. The other managers and I did the best we could for the dogs and the employees by disregarding his orders and going behind his back. I witnessed multiple illegal and immoral business practices. Suddenly after three years of the business growing and becoming very successful he had his right hand man step in, fire the boss and try to demote the other managers.

He a useless, retarded office manager from banfield in our place and saved himself alot of money. During my time working for him He repeatedly tried to get us to agree to keeping the dogs in cramped cages overnight and wanted us to overbook kennels over the holidays. He refused to allow team members who had been there for years any kind of raise and wanted us to cut everyone's hours. He doesn't care at all about the health or happiness of the animals or his employees.

He tries to scam employees into signing documents stating they will not apply for unemployment benefits.

The new manager plans to hire teenagers at minimum wage to care for the dogs and only work them part time so they don't have to give benefits. I only post this in hopes that it will help someone considering going to work for this maniac or putting their beloved pets in his care.
