I purchased 2 motion recliners from a furniture store. They are both broken in some way.
The store said since I didn't buy an extended warranty my chairs are not covered.
i submitted a claim on Southern Motions website over 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything. I can't find a telephone number for them.

We purchased a leather sectional and it’s cover started shredding to pieces. We went to the store and were given a ridiculous story — you can replace only in the first 3 days!
So 1300$ down the drain. Their delivery men are extremely rude..

Misused credit card several times. Denied it when contacted.
Hundreds of dollars still with them. My bank cannot do anything since they are in India.

My Clayton recliner was plug in the wall and Franklin's report that some recliners can cause fire it left plug in this was never told told to me at purchase from Slunberland furniture store. But I found out that a number of showroom and furniture stores have caught fire.
My town fire department did there investigation .It was a terrible report .that said the chair wasn't.
Plug in the wall. The wall of which the plug is located was destroy the plug of the chair is melted in the plastic of the face plate of the plug and outlet of the wall.
Lane Furniture - Recliner failed within weeks, no care attitude of lane.

I purchased a Lane Stallion Big recliner. Bolts in the reclining mechanism snapped off.
Seller unable to find repair service. Offered me 50 bucks if my son could fix it. Lane sent bag of bolts. None of the carriage bolts required.
The replacement bolt bent when installed. Preventing use of the mechanism to place second snapped bolt. Been ignored by retailer and Lane since. I get more angry as time goes by.
Good thing there is a 7 year warranty. It may be that long.

I had a problem with my sofa and loveseat. I called in and SCREAMED and CURSED at the customer service rep I spoke with because I didn't get the answers I wanted.
She was patient and kind and I was unruly. I feel bad now, but at least I got the parts I needed!
