Directv - Sick and tired of resetting DVR to find the shows I've taped, they disappear and maybe in a day or 2 they show up. There's enough people out there with the same problem SO FIX it.

yes was on with Direct TV and told me to reset DVR which I've done. Been going on for months. Why can't this be resolved?

Servers go out every 2 days. Keep calling but no one comes out to fix the issues. They sure can charge but can't fix their equipment or service.

Recorded shows disappear and have to continually reset receiver to recover. I've been told by Directv/AT&T this is a software glitch. That was 3 months ago. I think it is time to 'can' directv. It ain't what it used to be.

I recently had my 3 directtv recievers replaced eithe genie2 system. I was told that had to happen as i couldn't get the local channels with the old recievers. The human interface for the genie 2 is garbage compared to the old system. It won't tell you how full the disk is. You can't back up a in program you joined late. It'll record things you haven't asked for, like footbsll games. It will not tell you if the show you are tryng to record has insufficient priority There's no way to do a 'mass select' in order to purge old recorded programs. Most of the attractive features are only available over broadband cable. Fine, if you have it. But if i had adequate broadband cable. I won't have Directtv

Software issue where you lose your recordings, so you have to restart DVR. Have to do on a daily basis.
Call and everyone says the same thing because they read of cards. I'm so sorry, I understand your frustration, I'm a customer too, yadda yadda.
Been going on for 4 months and still not fixed. Still paying $125 a month though!!
