ReBath in Charlotte, North Carolina - Don't use Re-Bath!!!

Please Don't use Re-bsth!!!! I am redoing their job due to I now have a leak that they have caused!! I had them come out due to the "Lifetime Guarantee." That's a bunch of Bull!! They of course, denied that they caused the leak and I can't figure out how to prove they did so I'm now out of the money that I am having to pay for the original contract!! They are more worried about hiring non-plumbers than actual real contractors!! Be aware and don't make the SAME mistake that I did!!!!!!!!!!

Rebath did my bathroom, 3 yrs ago. The put a shower overlay over my existing tub.

They hired plumbers to complete the work. I just found water under my ceramic floor tiles they installed on top of my subfloor. I am 99% sure the water is coming from the shower drain, poor seal that finally broke. But Rebath states that it's not their issue and lifetime guarantee does not included any of the work the plumbers they hired did.

This is going to cost me a ton to fix. Not happy!!

Sorry your having these problems. I own a Bathroom remodeling company called South Shore Dream Bath in Rockland,Ma and you would never see this happen on my end.

The customer always comes first no matter what. I worked for Rebath and i know how these big franchises work. Its a common mistake that people make when they purchase from big companys. Its not so much the company , its the installers that dont have the proper training.

I was one of there top installers and i soon relized how they work. They cut my pay in half and expected me to do all the work for nothing.

But now i dont have to deal with there mess.Oh and there is a mess. Alot of call backs ....srry guys but they just left me no choice.

They are all investors and after a quick buck!!!! Non of them

have plumbing experience.

They furniture store owners, battery salesmen, handymen with no

real knowledge of plumbing. Stay away or you'll have to pay TWICE!!

"I hired Re-Bath of Tampa Bay to re-do my shower, tile the floor and change out fixtures. When I signed the contract, they stated I had a broken shower pan and the shower leaked. "After this meeting, I gave them $3,200. They were to return eight weeks later to begin....

Rebath Decatur, Illinois caused water leak.refused to fix

Rebath of Decatur, Illinois 1005 N Water Street (217) 423-8827 installed a new tub/shower kit appx. 2 months ago. The tub was way too small and then to make matters worse I had a major water leak that they caused(I never had the leak before they did their work) has damaged my trim and has caused numerous near slips and falls. They refuse to fix the water leak and/or replace the miniature tub they put in. They refuse to return my phone calls, forcing me to call time and time again. I had a plumber come in and find where Rebath caused the leak, yet Scott Carr and Eric from the rebath Decatur office refuse to admit any wrongdoing. Rebath's add says don't settle for less, well that's what you will do if you hire Rebath....You will settle for less with Rebath. do not fall into the same trap as I did. Do it yourself or hire a local honest person you know. Rebath is a ripoff!!!!

Same story here. They took advantage of my 93 year-old father.

Installed tub liner only. Liner was too small so they glued a piece in and caulked.

Well you guessed it, now we have water between liner and old tub. All the caulk is a mess and to top it all off, they charged my father $1,800 just for liner!

Rebath of Central Florida, owned by Richard S., sold to another individual in a asset sale only. Richard S., franchise owner of Rebath of Central Florida, walked away from paying his companies debts after the sale.

Thousands of Dollars in materials purchased and supplied to customers homes was never paid for. Richard S. owns another Rebath Franchise in Long Island, New York. People should be made aware that He may not pay for materials in New York and customers could have liens placed on there homes by suppliers and workers. Rebath of Central Florida, stiffed one of his former employees with default judgement in the amound of $18,500.00 plus court cost, and attorney fees.

The employee was kind enough to sign a credit application for Richard S., since Richard S. was a absentee owner. The debt is due to Scripps Publication, parent company for Florida Today Newspaper. Richard S. took the profit from the sale of the Rebath of Central Florida sale and skipped out on this debt and thousands of dollars more. Rebath has a very bad reputation of doing this type of thing ikt is all over the internet. And there installations are of poor quality.

Again you can see it all over the internet. This guy Richard S. still qualifies Rebath of Mid Florida with his Master Plumbing license and the person harmed by the debt is seeking that the State of Florida revoke Richard S. Master Plumbing License in the State of Florida. Rebath Corporate knows of this debt problem and states, ITS NOT OUR PROBLEM.

Yet Richard S. is a Rebath Franchise Holder still in Long Island New York.

Richard S. should be made to pay off this debt or have his New York franchise taken away. What kind of Franchise owners are you allowing Dave S.? Force Richard S. to pay the debt.

In a nutshell I asked Rebath to give me an estimate to remodel both of my small bathrooms. I was told by the salesman that they don't do that but could replace both of my tubs and surrounds for $12,500. I told him thanks but no thanks since I received another...

Went by their today. Mail is piled up against the door, and a Ups receipt is on the front door from November 4th, 2011.

Looks like they didn't have the real business sense and capability to stay open.

In the future I would advise to never mess with someones employment opportunities.

That someone could put a report on ripoffreport.com and ruin you. NFWM.

We had considered becoming a Rebath franchise and went to their open house at their office in Az. The cost was low around $12,500 but they wanted another $40,000 for a mobile showroom which was crazy. I met Dave Sander who in my impression is a smug little man. We...

This company is a joke here in Wyoming, a bunch of under qualified contractors and lackies when it comes to management. The owner is a retard and his guys have no experience at all.

I have a few friends that used them and all they do is complain. All three of them have had numerous repairs from leaky this or that.

They can't even install a toilet properly, and they are not even plumber but do plumbing.

Pissed customer...... :(

I can back this statement up. I was a Trainer for them and never trained a single owner.

A true Franchise, offers and has qualified people on board to train franchise owners. The President does not believe in training, give them a training manual and we have done our job! Guy has no clue how to manage people, what a true franchise is and how you operate a franchise.

This is not a true franchise it should have continued on as a distributorship. The ownership group switched to a franchise so they can make more $ when they sell the company.

BUYER BE WARE.

No training and very little support.

Rebath installed a shower no one can use

Rebath installed a new shower in our bathroom that no one can use. I am 5'3" and my head is nearly hitting the ceiling. They brought the floor of the shower up so high off the ground that it is uncomfortable to get in and out of. A walk in shower should not be raised up to tub height and so short that only children can use it. Prior to instalation, we were told we would be in constant contact with the company about delivery but they never called except the day they showed up to let them in.
