My REBATH Nightmare I met with Ron, a salesman from Rebath, on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 6 pm in my home. After his sales pitch, I picked out the bathtub, tub surround, tub/shower fixtures, 1 ROUND toilet, and wainscot for lower wall and trim. I was informed I would...

I am very dissatisfied with the service and attitude of the owner of the Rebath store in my area. Upon ordering my bath liner I was shocked to learn I would have to wait nearly 3 months for the installation. With promises from the salesman that they usually arrive...

Mr. Falletta is totally dishonest in his comments above.

He says he sees no mention that they came out right away after the install. In the first sentence of the fourth paragraph above I most certainly did say that they came out the next day after I called. And he minimizes the 2 month delay of my installation and has no response about the neglect of my other complaints after the install.

I never told Mr.

Falletta that I would post any comments, positive or negative, anywhere whether he gave me a discount or not. I certainly did ask for a discount since the job was over 2 months delayed and the sealant looked horrible and they broke my curtain rod, and some of the curtain rings, and left a mess. And I did tell him that other reputable companies that I have dealt with that made mistakes were happy to give a discount or some other concession to make up for their error. But he refused a discount and said there was nothing wrong with their service or installation.

He never once explained about the sealant like he did above. And frankly I never complained about the function of the sealant. I'm sure it won't leak. But the job was done unevenly and looks bad.

He never came out to see it himself so I don't know how he can make an assessment about the appearance. The appearance, as well as the function, is very important to me and as you can see from Mr.

Falletta's response on the last line above that none of my complaints constitute a "real issue" to him. Cavalier attitude still is the best description I can think of.

From reading the complaints about Re-Bath I can only think that it depends on the franchise in your area. I had Re-Bath install a tub surround for me and replace the fixtures. This was over a year ago and it still looks brand new. The only complaint I would have is...

ReBath review in Killeen, Texas: Re-Bath Bell County is great!

While I cannot comment on the Re-Bath franchises in other areas, I can say that the Re-bath in Killeen, Texas is wonderful. The people who came to our house were professional, efficient, and did a great job. And if there was anything we had a question about they were happy to take the time to answer it. If we wanted something a little different than what they did, they were happy to complete items the way we wanted them. They were respectful of our home and the results were great! People who complain about the price - well, that's what free enterprise is all about. But generally you get what you pay for. On something as important as plumbing and walls, I prefer to pay for professional work and not look to cut corners to save a dime. Penny wise and pound foolish is not the route we chose to take on a project that, if done wrong, could create serious structural issues. I can recommend the Re-bath here in central texas to anyone who is looking for professional work done efficiently and correctly.

the saleman siad we were getting something like Corian installed on our bathtub walls, rebath SSP. we have corian in the kitchen and what they installed is nothing like corian.

I just refused to pay for it and the saleman came back and told me he said it was "like corian". The salesman is insane, I paid $4800 for some thin cheap looking plastic.

Rebath was at the home and garden show here in Birmingham, so my wife went ahead and made an appointment to get an estimate. We wanted to convert an existing shower into a tub (since we don't have a tub in our home). Rebath showed up, they were two young gentlemen. ...

Wow, you guys got off cheap. My total bathroom do over was 22,000 thousand dollars.

It is your standard 9 by 12 foot bathroom.

Oh I got a 10 percent discount for being a veteran and another 5 percent off if I signed up then, which I did for a new total of about 19,000 dollars. I wish I did my homework.

I had a bathroom renovation done by Rebath of SW & central VA. The technician who did the work was competent & polite & did a good job.

However after he left I saw that some nails had penetrated the wall damaging the sheetrock on my staircase wall.

Attempts to have this corrected have been stalled by the company although they did send someone out to photograph the damage! Attempts to reach the corporate office by phone or Email have been unsuccessful.I suppose the next step will have to be litigation

ReBath review in Anchorage, Alaska: Re-bath

Re-Bath has sent over one man to redo the downstairs bathroom. I left to go to school for two hours and when I returned, there were three trucks blocking the driveway and two of the men were smoking two feet from the house. The garage door was also open...We live in Alaska and it's January... Not okay. Then they did not remember to fax the plumbing inspector so the entire project which started out as a one day job, turned into a three day job with no progress the second day. It is now the third day and I have come home to a sleeping man in his truck with the garage door open and now the garage door will not close all the way. Not only have they broken my garage door but they have run up my heating bill AND the bathroom is STILL not finished. I am not a happy person right now and feel like they should be shut down. This is pathetic and next time I will do the work myself.

ReBath review in Washington, District Of Columbia: RE-Bath. They screwed up my shower and left me without a shower for four months.

RE-BATH, Dale Enterprises. Saleperson came to my home, and measured my old shower stall. After the installer finished installing the base, we saw it was too small, and there was a gap between my floor tiles and the base. The owner said he would put in a tile base for us so that there wouldn't be a gap. He then said he didn't want to do that because it wouldn't look good. Yet, he never came out to see the job. Then he sent someone to mold a base. When the man came out, he said he had the wrong material, and the wrong color, and couldn't fix it. I told them to take out their material and leave. Home Depot, who recommended them said we have to let them do whatever they feel they have to do, whether we like it or not. I'm going to court!!

I would not let them mold a base on site. Insist that they replace with a real UPC rated base not something seamed together with a bunch of plastic scraps.

I would highly recommend not doing business with Rebath. The crew that remodeled our bathroom did a terrible job and the owner Randy lied and covered up his crews incompetence.

We had to hire a reputable contractor to fix their work. Do not hire this company.
