ReBath review in Salt Lake City, Utah: Horrible product and service

My install took almost 9 months to complete. Each of my two bathrooms had to be replaced twice after the initial install. The panel designs were switched by the salesman/consultant. The installers never checked to make sure they were installing the right ones. I had crooked cuts on panels, bad caulking, bowed panels, a clogged drain they never fixed. My shower curtain rod was bent by one of the crews and when I requested a replacement I was accused of sabotage. Shower doors weren't aligned so they wouldn't slide. Parts were forgotten and I was told to wait until they came back to fix the other bathroom. Had to come back numerous times to re-caulk and fill in gaps. Finally I gave up and accepted the fact I would not have my beautiful new bathroom. Now eight months later I am still fighting a clogged drain and have to replace all the caulk in my primary bathroom because it is molding and peeling off.

ReBath Troy

First of all let me just say I am not a customer but a past employee. Being an employee I saw first hand how this company literally screwed over every single customer that signed with them. If you do end up signing a contract with them my first piece of advise to you is to only give a small deposit!!! and when the contract says 4-6 weeks or 8-10 believe me when I say you will not get your material installed until the minimum of 3.5-4.5 months later. I worked first hand with the owner Cindy Oslund and she is the one that does all of the ordering. She does not order the material until the customer calls in and asks what the heck is taking so long. ....the thing she tells everyone is " the manufacturer is running behind" let me tell you this so you know the truth. Once the material is ordered it takes approx a little over a week to produce and 7-8 days to ship. so there is NO REASON people should be waiting up to 6 months for their products. I am not bashing anyone here i am just warning people that if you are looking for something fast this place is not it. you will get the run around like no other ....beware this place is a JOKE!!!!!

I am so pissed at myself for not reading all of these online reviews before I signed my contract with Re-Bath. I have been dealing with Cindy for almost 5 months now and she is doing EXACTLY what you said.

I can't even get her to come out and look at my shower door that has a 1-inch gap at the top AND at the bottom of it. I have to keep a shower curtain up to prevent the water from running out onto the floor.

I hired Rebath in Riverside to remodel my shower on July 5th. They said by July 15th they could start the remodel. By Sept 5th, they still had not started but did charge my credit card $3500. I cancel my order for abandonment. My credit card company would not...

In California the franchise is responsible for their franchisee, contact the state attorney general for whom to serve and sue the corporate office in small claims.

REBATH SCAMS CUSTOMERS DON'T USE!!!!!

Signed contract with Barry Rush on August 15 2012 and he never did work or called us since then we gave him $4575 down payment and he seems to have run with our money, we even contacted corporate and they wont help us even tho they know he's scammed customers they care more about what is posted on internet about them than helping customers out money. Contacted corporate 6 weeks ago they keep telling they are working on it but never get back to us and work still has not started. Horrible horrible company would never trust ANY Rebath no matter what state it is in

Campbell worked for ReBath in Overland Park. Jewelry and cash are what Overland Park police said one worker stole from families when they hired him to do work in their homes.

Teresa Spiess was excited to redo her bathroom. She hired a local company to refurbish the tub and remove the mold behind the wall. But one week later she said she discovered something else had been removed from her bathroom by one of the workers. "We keep savings in the drawer -- kids' birthday money and college savings, plus money for the bathroom work," she said.

"How much? $6,500." The worker, Bradlee Campbell, was charged in Johnson County court with felony theft not only in the Spiess' case, but two other consumers who had reported to police that they were also ripped off. KCTV5 has learned that he had a criminal record that includes driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana. This is something that doesn't sit well with Spiess.

"When am I going to get money?" she said. "I'm not a bank. I'm not trying to hurt the business. I hate that I'm in this position."ReBath declined to talk on camera, but one of the co-owners said they are a reputable company with a AAA rating with the Better Business Bureau.

He could not talk about hiring practices. He said a claim has been filed with an insurance company in the Spiess' case and it will take time to process.

BATHROOM REMODELING SALESMAN SENTENCED TO STATE PRISON IN CONNECTION WITH STEALING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FROM HOMEOWNERS SCHEME PERPETRATED IN MULTIPLE COMMUNITIES AROUND METRO BOSTON.

BOSTON, MA -- The following information was released by the office of the Massachusetts Attorney General:

A former bathroom remodeling salesman pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years in state prison in connection with defrauding multiple homeowners of thousands of dollars, Attorney General Martha Coakley's Office announced today.

Joel Salvatore, 42, of Stoneham, pleaded guilty on Tuesday in Norfolk Superior Court to charges of Larceny Over $250 (1 count), and Larceny Over $250 of a Person Over 60 Years Old (3 counts). After the plea was entered, Norfolk Superior Court Judge Kenneth Fishman sentenced Salvatore to two years and one day in state prison, with six … According to authorities, Salvatore worked as a salesperson for Bay State Re-Bath (Re-Bath), a bathroom remodeling company, from February 2011 until his termination in June 2011. As a salesperson, Salvatore met with potential customers in their homes, examined their bathrooms, and gave sales presentations about Re-Bath's remodeling products and services. He also prepared contracts for proposed projects on approved company letterhead.

In a scheme to defraud homeowners beginning in April 2011, Salvatore solicited consumers by offering the company's remodeling services at a cut rate. Based on his proposal, Salvatore would draft a generic contractor's invoice and request a down payment for services to be rendered at a later date.

As a result of this scheme, Salvatore collected payments ranging from $1,700 to $3,000 without ever beginning renovations despite repeated attempts by customers to contact him. In addition to customers in Needham, Salvatore victimized customers in Wakefield, Medford, and Walpole.

In addition to working for Re-Bath, Salvatore previously operated a Luxury Bath Systems franchise in Massachusetts that also performed bathroom remodeling. According to the Massachusetts Secretary of State's Office, Salvatore is also connected with the following businesses registered in Massachusetts: JS & Company of Salem, N.H.; Home Improvements of New England, Inc., in Stoneham, and Salvatore, Inc., in Quincy.

I worked at Corporate for 3 weeks, I can tell you that NOBODY there cares, they are too busy filing their nails, wondering what to order for lunch or listening to the radio. I had to send a strongly worded email to the president and the vp of the company with a threat of reporting them to the NLRB, when they failed to send me my final paycheck and I also gave an earful to a gentleman who called me and informed me he was doing an internal audit of the company. He got every word I had to say in...I hope Re-Bath goes out of business soon, too many people being screwed over.
