ReBath in Boston, Massachusetts - Water + air pockets between tub and liner

The first problem was water leaking in between the original tub and the liner that rebath installed. After rebath replaced the liner ( which I had to pay for the re-installation ) and less than 2 years later there are now air pockets between the liner and tub. The Ma. office is now telling me that the tub must not be an exact fit and corporate office will not fix the problem. Bottom line - DO NOT trust this company ! They will go out of business sooner or later. I want to join a class action law suit.

Not sure when you posted this but here goes. I have worked for a different Re-Bath Franchise for 10 plus years.

the way the warranty works is it covers material & labor on all Re-Bath brand products for as long as you own the property, period. Re-Bath Corp. is the one who stands behind the warranty not the local franchise. yes the franchise is the one who will be the one to fix it and they are the ones who usually deal with corp.

on your behalf. Now, there is some responsibility on the home owner to keep the final sealant clean and replaced when needed. if your having problems and not getting anywhere with the local franchise go to the manufacturer. that's Re-Bath.

our customers don't have this type of problems.

If all this is true then I'm sorry for what you've had to go through.

That is not how a franchise works. If there is a problem and the local guy won't do anything than contact the state attorney general.

Rebath has a agent of service so take them to court in the state.

It won't get that far. As soon as they get service they will take care of it

This company gender discriminates. They are male chauvinists. I've dealt with several contractors and trades people before, and I've never seen this: So I want a guest bathroom remodel. I called to schedule an appointment for ReBath people to come out for an estimate,...

If it was reversed and your husband would have called they still would not have set up an appointment unless you were going to be there as well. If the house was only in your name it would have been ok, but they need all people present who owns the house.

Sounds like they didn't do a very good job explaining it to you.

Also to be more efficient they would like all parties interested present because there is so much to cover in a short period. Usually out of respect for your husband and or wife even if you would have liked everything you looked at while the consultant was at your residence your response would have been "I will get with my husband and call you back" typically if a purchase is less than 1000.00 it is not necessary to talk t of your significant other but when you are talking about making an investment in your home for 10000.00 to 20000.00 I personally don't know anyone, man or woman who would respectfully make that decision without having a discussion about it first.

ReBath Topeka Kansas, BEWARE...DO NOT USE

Horrible!!!! The customer service with Re-Bath in Topeka Kansas! A 2 day project has been 3 weeks, amateurish to the point of us finishing the job ourselves and the owners are the rudest, sketchiest people I ever have done business with. From the couple of actual returned phone calls coming from Arizona cell phone numbers to the owner having aliases online, multiple addresses in multiple states, his vulgar facebook page, and now non-returned phone calls I just cannot imagine how they stay in business. I have documented the job itself as well as emails concerning my project because in the end I feel I will definitely need them. I just pray the product itself has better quality than the service! Oh and they are taking me to court too!

Things could have been worst. This is from the news.

Campbell worked for ReBath in Overland Park.

Jewelry and cash are what Overland Park police said one worker stole from families when they hired him to do work in their homes. Teresa Spiess was excited to redo her bathroom. She hired a local company to refurbish the tub and remove the mold behind the wall. But one week later she said she discovered something else had been removed from her bathroom by one of the workers.

"We keep savings in the drawer -- kids' birthday money and college savings, plus money for the bathroom work," she said. "How much? $6,500." The worker, Bradlee Campbell, was charged in Johnson County court with felony theft not only in the Spiess' case, but two other consumers who had reported to police that they were also ripped off. KCTV5 has learned that he had a criminal record that includes driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.

This is something that doesn't sit well with Spiess. "When am I going to get money?" she said. "I'm not a bank. I'm not trying to hurt the business.

I hate that I'm in this position."ReBath declined to talk on camera, but one of the co-owners said they are a reputable company with a AAA rating with the Better Business Bureau.

He could not talk about hiring practices. He said a claim has been filed with an insurance company in the Spiess' case and it will take time to process.

Rebath is real bad. Their attorney David Rosenberg was disbarred a couple of months ago.

He wasn't even licensed to practice law. I expect to see this company on the TV show American Greed soon.

We visited a showroom and this young woman won't look up from her book and said a salesman would have to come to our home to let us know what it costs. I asked what was the cost of the exact same one we were looking at.

And it was she didn't know. I guess she was there to stop anyone from stealing the dusty junk.

Poor customer service
Re-bath of west Texas has not lived up to one promise that was made. The estimator Heath promised that the company would call at least one week before the job was started so I would have time to remove the commode and my mother would not have to be without for any...

They do have an attitude that can be described as Texas arrogance. You should accept whatever *** they offer you with humility and deference.

They said it all, the best worker they can find is someone who cant get a job in the oilfield.

The oilfield will hire anyone.

So let us all know when your shower goes bad, as it is destined to do, and let us know how wonderful your Re-bath team is at follow up and customer service. Or, in the spirit of full disclosure, please let us know how you are related to your rebath installer or franchise owner (mother?

cousin?

sister?) or whether you are in fact a paid reviewer, or even an employee of rebath.

ReBath in Camarillo, California - Scammed!

Promised finished bth.rm. remodel in 3 days which was the ONLY reason I hired them. The ONLY thing they did was demolish the old bth.rm., install a shower base/surround. That cost me over $8,000. Am having to pay to have elec., lights, ceiling repaired, new floor, walls painted, baseboard installed. Have tried, without any success, to contact ANYONE at Rebath who will do anything about this situation. The Mgr. is ALWAYS 'out/not available.' The Mgr. has NEVER returned any of my calls. There is no truth to their advertisements, and you have no recourse to get them to correct anything.

Such a shame, most of the franchisees are hard working individuals who want to get the job right. There are a few bad apples that they should be rid.

Our Rebath "Contractor" worked well in our home until the job lasted more than the 3-4 days scheduled; knowing that there was extensive floor damage needing repaired and more days; did questionable work in places; refused to even screw on the switch & plug plates when job was nearly finished; doubled or tripled prices to do with items such as laying the floor so that we were forced to do it ourselves (handicapped individuals)... Therefore, if you require more than tub to shower...

hire someone else! :eek

ReBath in Ojai, California - Lack of water

Rebath did a remodel on our bathroom in 2010. We have been unable to use the bath or shower do to no water coming from the faucet. We have called them 5 times and they have sent a technician to repair the problem. As of today we called again no water coming from the tub faucet. They can't seem to figure it out. Were waiting for a call back for a another technician to come again. Of course they may or may not call. It would be nice for that bathroom to be fixed. Good think we have another bathroom. Do not recommend then.

I wanted to get rid of one of those safety tubs that I had in the bathroom. That was my mother’s and it didn’t benefit us.

It just wasn’t practical for us. In order to remove it, I wanted it done within a timely manner without so much restoration. Then I heard about this company on the internet. I chose them because they’re advertising that they can do it usually in a day or two, the factor that I was looking for because I wanted a product that is able to be installed in a short length of time.

And that’s what I wanted. What I got was three months of waiting, mis-orders, and excuses.

ReBath in Willingboro, New Jersey - Showe door needs to be readjusted. not shutting properly.

On 09-22-08, my shower and door were installed. On -7-02-13, after faxing my lifetime warranty to Eric Shaw and Corporate contact Lisa Rizzo, I was informed by Lisa that they would give me a $50.00 break on service visit to my home. So instead of paying $200 just for service call, I could pay $150.00. What happened to lifetime warranty. The contract I signed never mentioned service call charges. Its not even 5 years from installation. Lisa's no. is 480-754-8970 and Eric Shaw's is 302-328-4383, ex. 112 I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND REBATH> THEY VIOLATED THEIR CONTRACT AND NEVER NOTIFIED ME THERE WOULD BE A SERVICE CHARGE.

I'm in process of trying to contact Re-Bath for the same problem with my shower door installed March 2008 by the Asheville, NC franchise. Could not contact the local franchise by phone, got the message "this phone not available from your area" so I reported through the Re-Bath web site.

Two days later no feedback yet other than an email saying they'd get back as soon as possible.

Fyi, in late May 2008 I reported the same problem with the door which Re-Bath came out and fixed at no charge. Makes me wonder if the door mounting is an extremely weak link in the design.
